Tha Watcher

Tha Watcher is one of biggest MC names in the dance scene with performances across the world. Anthony Dap aka Tha Watcher was born on the 15th of December 1981 in The Netherlands. His great passion for music made him aim to become a part of the musicscene. After going being introduced by his friends MC Apster and Only, he was asked to perform himself. The sheer energy he received from the crowd, made him want to develop his skills. His aim to give 250% energy back at every party resulted in being one of the most energetic and passionate MC's in the scene.

After hosting the 5 year anniversary of Masters of Noise, Tha Watcher was asked to join their ranks. It didn't stop there; while touring through BeNeLux, Germany & France, he came into contact with the world-famous artist Human Resource who took him under his wing.

In 2009, after just 3 years of MCing, his career really skyrocketed! First he was asked to join the world's leading hardcore radioshow Masters of Hardcore radio, where he came into contact with upcoming, as well as renowned artists. Secondly, he was noticed by Angerfist & Outblast who were impressed by his relentless energy and motivation on stage. Shortly after, Tha Watcher was contacted by Masters of Hardcore for a performance at Masters of Hardcore - Design the Future. The response to this was massive to say the least and resulted in an offer to join the elite ranks of Most Wanted. Tha Watcher took this amazing opportunity and since then his career took off at a brutal pace.

2010 marked the beginning of a new raw hardstyle live-act: Crypsis Live. The brutal energy that Tha Watcher brings to the stage when hosting a party, and the raw pounding sound of Crypsis is packed into 30 minutes of raw adrenaline. Together with Crypsis he has rocked stages, tracks and much more in the future.

His solo and live-act performances include: Masters of Hardcore, Defqon 1, Dance Valley, Angerfist Retaliate Tour, Noize Suppressor World Tour, Nature One, Ground Zero and many, many more!

Next to his performing, Tha Watcher has also worked on his vocal productions. The result: A massive classic with Angerfist & Outblast: Voice of Mayhem.

This track was released in 2010 as the 15 year anthem of Masters of Hardcore but is still played at every major party world wide! The list of producers grows stronger track by track, and he is without a doubt one of the most wanted vocalists in the hardcore scene.

After 5 years, his motivation to become a major part of the music scene has only gotten stronger. With performances around the world, slamming tracks and organised events across Holland, there is no stopping this Voice of Mayhem!
