Erik Ypma, also known as Dione, embarked on his musical career in the late 1980s as a DJ at a local youth center, quickly followed by gigs at local parties. His breakthrough came when he performed at the very first Mysteryland, and soon after that, he graced the stages of more ID&T parties such as Thunderdome, Speedrazor, and Earthquake.

In addition to his DJ work, Erik began working in radio, starting with a local radio show. This eventually led to him hosting Holland's most popular and award-winning hardcore radio show, 'Hakkeuh' on New Dance Radio. The show achieved legendary status, with its music becoming a standard for the older generation and a major source of inspiration for many producers in the current generation.

Meanwhile, Erik started producing his own tracks, leading to their inclusion on over 50 compilations and two album CDs released by various Ramshorn labels under different aliases. Shortly after, he signed with ID&T, releasing his first 12" vinyl records on labels such as Deathfly and Thunderdome Records. Many of his tracks also found their way onto the best-selling Thunderdome CDs of that era.

By the late 1990s, Erik began producing for Megarave Records, releasing numerous tracks on vinyl and CDs. He collaborated with several other hardcore icons, creating many classic tunes. His releases became a staple in every DJ's record bag, with some of his tracks still considered classics by many. Even his older tracks continue to be played by DJs today as millennium hits, while his newer releases consistently rank among the industry's bestsellers.

Erik Ypma, also known as E-Noid, is the co-founder of the infamous DNA Records, one of the pioneering Darkcore labels in the (Hardcore) scene, known for bringing darker and rawer sounds to fans worldwide. E-Noid represents raw, hard, and dark tunes with a vicious twist. His tracks served as inspiration for many hardcore artists during the infamous millennium era. He proves that quality raw and dark hardcore doesn't always have to be at 200 BPM. E-Noid specializes in playing industrial darkcore.

Erik has performed, and continues to perform, all over the world, from LA to Sydney, from massive events in Switzerland to legendary gatherings in Holland, and from renowned clubs in Germany to mega-clubs in Spain. Wherever he goes, he receives an overwhelming response from the crowds, solidifying his status as one of the leading hardcore producers and DJs.

In recent years, he has been actively releasing his music on Megarave Records with releases such as With A Bang, Look Into My Eyes, Mind Ripper, The Redeemer, and the notable album of 25 Years Megarave Records. It's not an exaggeration to say that Erik is one of the most prolific hardcore producers ever, and his tracks continue to inspire music lovers worldwide.
