Biografie
Mc rg is an upcoming promising host in the dance scene with an unlimited variability of styles. From clubbing to hardcore and from trance to schranz, he is relentless in his pursuit of quality and always ready for the festivities and all the challenges on stage.
Produced several tracks and anthems and now hosts various events and festivals across holland (harmony of hardcore, intents festival) germany (army of hardcore) and belgium ( i love 2 party, babafest, daydream festival, last world festival)
Born friday the 13th... On a cold night in december, maybe a reason how he got his stage name you think? Well known for being crazy and having a mouth that never sleeps, is probably a better explanation.
We go back to may 2007, to the basement of club blitz in tilburg… wearing a shirt with his nickname on the back: rooiegek he was just fooling around with a couple of friends. One of those friends did his first gig and the people started pushing him to take the mic and support his buddy (trypsin) on stage. ''after i'd gathered all my nerves i just walked up to the mc and asked if i could give it a go, what turned out to be a life-changing moment for me; i felt awesome, despite the fact i was shaking like a leaf!''
No experience whatsoever, not half knowing what he was doing, his performance made an impression and already a week later he was invited by the people behind t-town to host the set of nobody less than dj partyraiser! And also he was pleased with the skills of the fresh rookie, from that night on known as ''mc rg''.
The good comments and positive feedbacks inspired him to continue working on stronger lyrics and develop his skills. He quickly became a resident hosting all t-town concepts and others.. (for example love 2 party and babafest) ..Were soon to follow. Within 6 months he hosted respectable stages with several big artists like paul elstak, darkraver, partyraiser, day-mar, rank1, marcel woods and many more. Became a resident mc at the ik ben je bitch niet - events in the first year and within 2 years, radiate allowed him to host a stage at decibel festival 2009.
A step across the borders to do gigs was an obvious result and with bookings throughout holland, belgium and luxembourg he gained more inspiration and respect with the crowd to progress the following years. According to rg those years would turn out having him host several big, respected stages (harmony of hardcore, intents festival, daydream festival to name a few). Every gig he took it a step further, to bring more and more masses of people into their highest party-spheres.
