Unexist

Born in a small village near Milan, Unexist kickstarted his DJ career in 1994 after experiencing the explosive energy of hardcore music at the legendary Club Number One in Brescia. Initially performing as "Jappo," he teamed up with hardcore pioneer Claudio Lancinhouse just one year later, releasing landmark records such as "Lenny Dee and the Hardcore Warriors" on ISL Records and the classic "Real Motherfuckers EP" (featuring the iconic "EXLXAXL"). During this time, his productions also found a home on influential labels like Industrial Strength, D-Boy, and Mokum.

From 1996 to 1999, Unexist held a residency at Club Number One, establishing his name as a force behind the decks. In 1997, the UneXist project was born, culminating in the 1999 release of his debut LP, Disintegrator Rising, on Industrial Strength Records (ISR). Over the years, he would go on to share the studio with Lenny Dee once again, co-founding ISE in 2001, before relocating to New York City. There, Unexist immersed himself in turntablism, heavy metal, and old-school hip-hop—reigniting his passion for hardcore and forging the signature UneXist sound that would define future anthems like "Fistortion" and "Attack."

Returning to Europe, Unexist set stages ablaze at major hardcore events—ranging from Thunderdome, Dominator, Defqon, and Tomorrowland—while continuing to release influential music. He dropped Contagion in 2005, and the raw-edged, punk-fueled Anarchy in 2010 (featuring the explosive track "Fuck the System" with DJ Satronica). Along the way, he became the first European DJ to showcase hardcore in Bogotá, Colombia, and set a record for the most sets by an Italian artist at Thunderdome.

In 2015, Unexist unveiled UNEXISTENCE, having parted ways with Traxtorm Records, and two years later released the emotional tribute single "King Never Dies" in memory of Franco Loja. After a period of personal challenges and creative distance, he joined forces with Art of Fighters in 2019 to develop the New Millennium concept—fine-tuning it throughout the pandemic until 2023, when he reignited his love for hardcore.

Today, Unexist stands ready to fuck the system once again—carrying 30 years of boundary-pushing beats, raw aggression, and unwavering devotion to the hardcore underground. Armed with pure artistic freedom, he continues to deliver fierce sets and new productions that ignite dance floors across the globe.
