Biografie
Marcel Woods has been ranked in the prestigious DJ MAG Top 100 for several years. It made him one of the headliners in the earlier days of dance music. He managed to perform at events such as; Sensation, Tomorrowland, Dance Valley, Sunrise Festival, Trance Energy and many more.
His DJ MAG ranking was a natural result of his productions and DJ skills that did get embraced by both fans and DJs. Till date, even the new generation can't get around Marcels legacy he left behind for dance lovers. Therefore it's not strange when you hear some of his classics (re-worked or not) blasted out by heavy hitters in the present scene by names such as: Dimitri Vegas & like Mike, Ummet Ozcan, Tiësto and Armin Van Buuren, just to name a few.
Through the years, Marcel Woods has released multiple tracks that became popular amongst dance music lovers. "Cherry Blossom" and "The Bottle" are one of these releases. In 2011, he collaborated with Tiësto on "Don't Ditch" and one of his older tracks "Advanced" recently reached the certified Golden status in Europe. Therefore it's safe to say, the man's music legacy speaks for itself and till date it shakes dancefloors on a world wide scale.
A while ago, Marcel Woods decided to take a step back due to family reasons as he became a father of two kids. This means that nowadays, Marcel plays a limited amount of classic sets a year.
