Thomas Hoeflaak, a.k.a. Toyax was born on November 29,1981 in Haarlem, the Netherlands. From an early age he developed a huge passion for electronic music after having contact with the rave and trance movements in the early nineties. His love for music made him build his own music studio, Wheaton Studios, when he was 18 years old. Few months later he submitted his first demo to Q Dance for the Qlubtempo Talentroom and got invited, two months later, to play there. This was the start of a long and successful career as a Dj spanning more than 500 events over 15 years in Holland, Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, Greece, Poland,Croatia, Hungary,Colombia and Luxembourg.

The highlights of this career are: 10 years residency at Nature One ( Classic Terminal ) in Germany. Dj sets at Electronic Family ( Legend Stage)2015, 2016 & 2017, Defqon 1(2012-2014)Q-Base, Edit Festival, Electric City, Grotesque Indoor Festival 300 &400, Luminosity 2018, Armin only Pre party, The Flying Dutch, Ultrashock, Qlubtempo, Qlusive Holland, HardClassics On The Beach, Crazy Wonderland 2018 & 2019,Atmoz Classics, Back 2 School, Remember,FFWD Fit for Free Dance Parade 2007, Ultrashock.Played also in big clubs like North Sea Venue, Heineken Music Hall, Ziggodome, The Box.

The Haarlem based DJ prefers to use vinyl - as his vinyl collection spans more than 10.000 tracks in Trance, Hardtrance, Acid, Techno and House - but also really enjoys using CDJs. His unique style is an eclectic mix of trance classics with techno and rave and acid influences, combining legendary tracks with songs you may never heard before, sprinkled with his own productions. He made more than 100 tracks of which 20 releases also under other names. Some of his own productions include: • Toyax vs Jimmy Santano - Just Before I Left' on Tektra Music. • Toyax - Melody is Everywhere released in 2017 on Sunstate records. • Azalea with 'Madwave' on Alex M.O.R.P.H label Universal Nation ( Blackhole Recordings)reached number 14 in the Beatport Trance charts • Summer Memories with Terry Bones number 50 and nr 5 in the releases charts • Dreaming of Summer number 30. • Heaven 's tears/ Waiting for Summer were released on Redux Recordings by label boss Rene Ablaze.
He is supported by great artists, like: Ayly & Fila, Johan Gielen, Darren Porter, Manuel le Saux, Ferry Tayle, Talla 2 XLC, Daniel Skyver, Darren Porter, Artento Divini, Fausto and many more. In his long career Toyax had the honor of playing alongside: Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Carl Cox, Ferry Corsten,Dr Motte, Westbam, Joris Voorn,Yves de Ruyter ,Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo, Miss Djax and many more! Toyax is a member of Symbols Agency. Symbols Agency is a famous agency with big artists like Ahmed Romel, Alessandra Roncone,Madwave,A&Z, Andrea Ribeca and many more.
