Thunderdome stands for Hardcore
Thunderdome is mainly used for parties, merchandise and CDs. Before the concept had started, we organized a big rave called The Final Exam, that took place on 20 June 1992. This was the first attempt to bring Hardcore and Gabber to a wide audience and also the first event organized by ID&T. Later in 1992, they organized the first Thunderdome event, which was simply titled The Thunder Dome.

In 1993, ID&T/Arcade also started a Thunderdome compilation CD-series with popular Gabber music. Besides, ID&T sold other kinds of merchandise items such as t-shirts, bomber-jackets, caps and even an energy drink (Thundertaste). The Thunderdome concept was considered important to the popularization and spreading of Gabber music during the '90s. It was the biggest and most popular concept in the Hardcore scene through most of the '90s.
At the end of 1999, we took a break from the Thunderdome concept and stopped producing the parties and CDs. The break lasted until 2001, then we resumed throwing events and producing CDs. After the restart, one or two events each year took place. In 2002, the concept for the event was the 10-year anniversary of Thunderdome. The sub name of this event was "A Decade".

On December 2012, we organized the last Thunderdome ever. It's was called "Thunderdome -
The Final Exam". This was also the 20th anniversary of the brand. It all comes in full circle now. It's time to let Thunderdome become what it always has been: legendary.

On November 3rd 2015 we announced that while the Thunderdome concept was retired, but introduced a new event called "Thunderdome - Die Hard Day", due to massive demand. The first event took place on December 5yh 2015 at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. And the 2nd Die Hard Day took place on December 3rd 2016 at the Warehouse Elementenstraat in Amsterdam.

At Dominator Festival on July 16th 2016, we rent a plane with a banner that said "25 Years of Thunderdome - See You In 2017" and was flying over the festival grounds. After that, we posted on Facebook: "See you in 2017". We confirmed the rumors, we celebrated the 25th anniversary edition of Thunderdome. On February 17th 2017, we released the trailer for the 25th anniversary of Thunderdome. The event took place on 28 October 2017 at Jaarbeurs Utrecht. It was sold out in 30 minutes. 40.000 Thunderdome fans from 46 countries. It was the best party ever!

We will host some festivals. Tomorrowland, Mysteryland and some other nice events.
