·DJ Wasp is a prominent figure in Belgium's drum & bass scene, having played a vital role in its growth and development. He has gone by different aliases throughout his career, including Gamorah Sound, Primate, and Undertone.
Wasp's journey in the music industry began in the mid-90s. It reached new heights when he became a part of Gamorah Sound, a trio that helped popularize drum & bass in Belgium in the early 2000s. The group's success led to them being one of the first drum & bass acts to perform at the Pukkelpop festival.
After Gamorah Sound disbanded, Wasp continued making music under his name and as Primate, exploring the deeper sounds of dubstep while promoting a more diverse range of music.
