Biografie
No one hits like Audio. Gareth Greenall's name is etched into the core of drum & bass — a producer known for a sound that's raw, technical, and uncompromising. With more than two decades of damage behind the decks and in the studio, he remains one of the genre's most dominant forces.
Audio first broke through in the early 2000s with Resonant Evil, setting the tone on labels like Renegade Hardware, Moving Shadow, and Outbreak. His solo rise began on Tech Freak Recordings with the release of To The Edge Of Reason, a debut so impactful it earned him a spot on Virus Recordings. There, he released the landmark albums Genesis Device, Soul Magnet, and Force Of Nature. The latter featured Headroom, a juggernaut that held the No.1 spot on Beatport for 13 consecutive weeks, knocking even Avicii off the top.
His next chapter came via RAM Records, where he dropped the ferocious albums Beastmode and [Unsocial], as well as curating the RAMLife compilation. Tracks like Make It Happen, Overdose, Drop It Human, and Shatterdome showcased his grip on relentless, high-pressure sonics.
On stage, Audio is just as lethal. He's headlined across every major territory, with explosive sets at festivals such as Let It Roll, Rampage, Boomtown, Outlook Festival, and Hospitality In The Park — along with club shows at Fabric London and across Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia.
In recent years, he's continued his assault on Blackout Music with a barrage of heavy releases like Flip Mode (and its Prolix remix), Invasion, Bedlam Axis, and collaborations including Where The Chaos Lies with Burr Oak and Black Sun Empire. His remix work hits just as hard, with standout reworks of Nothing Will Survive (Overtune, via Neuroheadz), Falling (Magnetude, Evolution Chamber), Resonance (Finalfix & Omneum, Hanzom Music), and Coalesce (Screamarts, BrainRave Music).
He remains a fixture on key compilations such as Blackout: Best of 2024, Hanzom Presents: Best of 2024, Wrong Room (Deluxe), and Variations on Black, alongside heavyweights like Noisia, Black Sun Empire, and Ed Rush — proof of his continued relevance at the top tier of drum & bass.
Still immersed in the studio and constantly evolving, Audio's career is driven by the same fire that launched it. A global headliner, a relentless craftsman, and one of the most impactful producers in the game — Audio still hits harder than ever.
