Michael Mkstyle

Michael Kwant was born on July 31 of the year 1982. He began with his study of Sound Engineering at the year of 2003 at the Sound Academy at Hilversum, The Netherlands and got his degree in 2004. Before that he was already producing music in 1998 and working as a DJ at different clubs and party's. He then began to further develop his own music style and so creating his own identity; DJ Mkstyle.

His interest in becoming a DJ started from when he was still doing audio engineering for other artists in the past. He became aroused by the idea that he wanted to attain that same goal: bringing parties to an amazing level with his own music style. His goal in the music world is to make the most out of his talent for music and to work with other international artists and DJ's as well.

Eventually he started to make his own mixtapes around the year of 2009-2010. He began to grow as a DJ in Europe and beyond in 2011-2012, making music at major clubs like the Escape in Amsterdam, club Rain in Amsterdam, club Livv in Rotterdam, club Confession on Aruba and also in club Euphoria at Santo Domingo on the Dominican Republic.

Nowadays in 2012, he is working together with other artists and is still making great music. At the moment he is also busy with making an album of his own music.

Mkstyle prefers to make (Latin/Dirty)house, Zouk and other Latin/Caribbean tracks and does that at different clubs and places in Europe and international too.
