Stefan Vilijn

Stefan Vilijn born in Vlaardingen, raised in Rotterdam (The Netherland), is technically blessed and very skilled as a DJ/producer. At the moment he is actively involved with several big names from the Dutch and International music scene. Well known artists such as: Franky Rizardo, Gregor Salto, Nelson Freitas, Erick-E, Chico Rose, DJ Disciple, Prok & Fitch, Sam Blans, Chris Moody, Leroy Styles, these are just a few of the names that Stefan Vilijn has worked with. Over the years his sound has strongly evolved and one could even say that he has created his own sound.

In 2010 he drops his first hit single " Jasmin Garden" on Dj Disciples record label called Catch 22 Records, and his carrier took off for real. Stefan Vilijn became a respected name in the party scene, and it didn't took long for him to set his first steps into the Dj-Booth. 2011 was Stefan Vilijn's real breakthrough when he decided to team up with William on his hit single ''Tentacao''. This song got released on Gregor Salto's record label, was nr 1 (for 5 weeks in a row) on the Fun-X Radio Charts, got nominated for the Capeverdian Music Awards, and became an instant classic as we all know by now!

By improving his talents successfully, Stefan Vilijn started performing in several clubs and festivals all over the world. He became a resident Dj at successful clubnights such as: Sappig, Hufters, Beatlovers, Passie and Latin Lovers! And performs in big clubs like: Off Corso (Rotterdam), Escape (Amsterdam), Effenaar (Eindhoven), Monza (Utrecht), Maassilo (Rotterdam) and many more. In 2012 he started off his own successful club night called ''Stefan Vilijn & Friends'' in his hometown Rotterdam. After many sold out editions, it's clear that Stefan Vilijn has definitely found a way of how to conquer the party scène with his own extraordinary sound. That year he even got invited by Swedish House Maffia member ' Axwell'' to do the warm up set for his international concert in Amsterdam.

In 2012 Stefan Vilijn broke his own chart record with his first Dutch song ''Offbeat Swag'' featuring Mc Dirty B and Bryan Dalton. Combining house music with Dutch Hip Hop a new genre was born. This song reached the 1 nr spot on the Fun-X Charts and stayed there for 11 weeks in a row. Over the last few years he has been putting out his music on labels such as Spinnin Records, G-Rex, Flamingo Records, Be Yourself Music, Flow Records and gets support and recognition from worlds finest Dj's such as: Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, GTA, Sam Feldt, EDX, W&W, Quintino, Fedde Le Grand, Roger Sanchez, Laidback Luke, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Kryder, Franky Rizardo, Dj Chuckie, and many more.
