Sara Dziri

Known for her genre-bending approach, DJ Dziri takes the audience on a trip through the unexpected, going from the deeper side of minimal techno and acid house to mesmerizing Middle Eastern & North African sounds.

Blending her belgo-tunisian roots into an explosive mix of "dancefloor-friendly" sounds, she started her own party series called Souk Sessions, first in Toronto, and later in Europe in her native country – Belgium. Dziri also made her mark as a producer releasing her first EP "Glimpse of an Eye on June 5th, 2019. Having recently played her first Boiler Room, where she shared the decks with Ellen Allien, Juan Atkins and Gerd Janson, DJ Dziri is gaining more international recognition for her work.

DJ, music producer, composer and performer, Sara Dziri is a Belgian-Tunisian multi-faceted artist who rose in few years as one of the names defining the Brussel's electronic underground scene. Her dj sets and productions stand for surprising, rhythmically complex house and techno, with hybridity and melancholy as central themes in both her music and overall artistic work. Next to being a Kiosk Radio resident since 2018, in 2019 she subsequently played her first Boiler Room alongside techno titans Ellen Allien & Juan Atkins, curated and played Nuits Sonores Brussels, played her first Amsterdam Dance Event and was invited for a dj set on the rooftop of Parisian Institut du Monde Arabe.
