Biografie
For those in the know, Jane Fitz is a revered selector. A DJ for over 20 years, Jane is resident in London at the Pickle Factory as well as her own party, Night Moves, and at legendary and truly boutique UK festival Freerotation, for which she received a Best Resident award-nomination at the DJMag Best of British Awards 2016.
At home in the UK she has played at places such as secretsundaze, Krankbrother, Percolate, Louche, Zutekh, Butter Side Up, DiY and Fabric and never fails to impress with her deep selections and great sense of narrative.
She is also a regular at some of the world's most respected clubs, such as Concrete in Paris, Panoramabar in Berlin, Closer in Kiev and 20/44 in Belgrade.
She is happiest though, outside the confines of a club, preferring to lay it down in all settings from festivals and fields to boats, mountains, deserts, warehouses, beaches and basements, always bringing a hard-to-categorise selection that blends early UK acid house with deep, psychedelic house and techno.
Her career was built on her DJing alone - not on productions, or associations with record labels or FM radio, and for that reason she is one of the most talented in the game.
However, in 2014 a debut release as one half of production duo Invisible Menders was released on cult UK label Porn Wax and proved that Jane is just as able in the studio.
EPs followed for Boe Recordings and Animals in Psychedelics with more to follow from this ever fascinating soundsmith.
