Sylar

Deejay Sylar, born in the main streets of Alkmaar, The Netherlands.

It all started in 2006. Sylar's best friend Willy Hoedt (The Demon Dwarf) came to his house with new turntables and and a mixer to show off his skills. From that point on DJ Sylar knew it, he wanted to become a deejay. Short after that he bought his first Technics SL 1200 turntables to play his favorite Hardcore tracks.

Not long after this, he came in contact with Thunderdome Radio, located in Studio 80 in Amsterdam. At the beginning he was always there with The Demon Dwarf and after a while the Radio host asked Sylar if he might wanted to play a set of his own, of course Sylar was honored of this request and took this challenge. When not playing his sets, he had the possibility to look over the shoulders of the best hardcore dj's like Party Raiser, Day-mar, Negative E, Tymon, MC: Da Mouth of Madness, Chrono, Angerfist, Base D, Crypsis, Dano, Dione, Evil Activities, Leviathan, Lunatic and Miss Hysteria, Noize Suppressor and many more .

There is one memory that Sylar never forgets. When visiting Thunderdome Radio there was Deejay named Your-On, only 11 years old playing his own live sets. The skills where not perfect at that point and Sylar asked Your-On, if he was interested it some tips on how to perfect his mixing skills. Your-on accepted this challenge and in no time, his skills where flawless and became the youngest hardcore deejay in the world playing on gigs like Defcon and travels around the whole world.
