Met nog slechts een paar nachtjes te gaan begint het behoorlijk te kriebelen bij de Pleasure Island crew. Zaterdag wordt er aangemeerd bij de Javakade in Amsterdam voor de 7e editie van Pleasure Island die dit jaar het thema 'Rock the Boat' meedraagt. Op het Java Eiland zijn de voorbereidingen voor dit festival in volle vaart bezig, de mainstage begint al behoorlijk vorm te krijgen, de tenten van Crazyland en Ex Porn Star zijn opgezet en het dek van de Supperclub Cruise wordt nog eens goed gepoetst om alle bezoekers zaterdag een onvergetelijke dag te kunnen bezorgen. 19

Er zijn nog slechts zes weken te gaan voordat het Java Eiland in het hart van Amsterdam het toneel is van het meest uitdagende festival van Nederland. Op zaterdag 11 juni leggen Art of Dance en Crazyland weer aan bij deze unieke locatie om dit doorgaans grijze stukje Amsterdam om te toveren tot een waar festivaleiland vol met ingrediënten die garant staan voor een ultiem feest. 24

Hmm, I doubt if it's a good idea to smoke some weed before you come to Pleasure Island. Foreigners have no idea of the strenght of the Dutch weed...So please be carefull en don't smoke to much. It's gonna be a sunny day, and that is no good combi too, especially if you drink alcohol with it.

Good shops are everywhere in Amsterdam, but don't try the bigger ones, they like to earn money over the back of tourists.
If you want some history, go to the Mellow Yellow at the Vijzelgracht. That was the very first coffeeshop EVER in Holland!

If you have a valid ticket, you allways get in, you don't have to be on time. Keep in mind that the later you go, the security check wil be more severe, I think its prohibited to bring weed too. But if you hide a small piece in your boxershort, it must work

Yes, everything is formally prohibited, but for soft drugs we know the Gedoogbeleid.

X is indeed commonly used but you have to know the right people. Do not buy it near the red light district!
You can't get it at the bar of the party, but if you look and ask around, it wil work.
