Luna Ludmila

Providing a hypnotic trip through minimal and house, with deep basses and moody grooves, Luna Ludmila has been developing and maturing her sound over the years.

While being only 18 years old, she started playing her first gigs around her hometown Utrecht. Today, Luna has been taking over dance floors all around The Netherlands. Varying from leading clubs like the beloved Studio 80, Tivoli, Basis and De Marktkantine, to the more heavy-weight dutch festivals like Into The Woods, Lief, Straf_Werk and Thuishaven.

One of her big highlights is hosting her very own club night at Utrecht's long lasting nightclub Poema. Her 'Luna Invites' (later called Sublunary Nights) nights between 2013 and 2015 were a great success. She frequently invited international names, like Enzo Siragusa (FUSE) and Guti (Desolat), being the only one at the time pushing this particular sound to the maximum in that area of the country.

Playing for people is one of her favorite things to do, but she spends most of her time in her studio, making her own music. With a huge enthusiasm for hardware and complex rhythms, she already gained the attention of several labels. In 2018 she released her first track on vinyl as un unknown artist on MiNimmal Movement. This track was played by one of her biggest musical heroes, Petre Inspirescu. With multiple releases planned, 2019 looks bright and promising for this ardent little ginger.
