"Back to the BASIS" – the slogan of the techno club in the heart of downtown Utrecht. For ten years, electronic music lovers have gathered in the dark, smoky basement next to the old canal to dance the night away with the best music and the funniest artists. BASIS has always been carried by its community, where everyone is welcome. Diversity, both in people and music, is key.

With the 360-degree booth setup, artists and audience are on the same level, creating an intimate, connecting atmosphere. The high-end VOID sound system completely immerses you into the music.

BASIS is more than a club – it is a place of "Utregse gezelligheid," musical curiosity, and constant innovation. It's a space that is always rediscovering itself, and where every night dancing together, sweating and enjoying is central.
