Biografie
·Around 20 years ago, Tino got his first real break as a DJ when he was spotted playing at one of many small house parties where he was often found behind the decks. This led to a residency at Club Stalker in Haarlem, where he held down the fort for over two years. During the legendary "Freeway" nights, he played alongside some of the biggest names in the scene: Remy, Eric E, Tiësto, Dimitri, Mrs. Wood, Terry Francis, DJ Zki (Chocolate Puma), and many more. These nights were known for their deep blend of house, progressive, and techno sounds.
Tino was also a fixture at his own DJ café, Miamamma's — a creative hotspot with an open stage where both well-known and emerging DJs performed, and where music and art always took center stage.
For the past 28 years, Tino has been a resident DJ at Woodstock69 on the beach of Bloemendaal, known for his sets filled with thick percussion and driving techno. He's been a staple at BeachBop as well, sharing the stage with heavyweights like Danny Howells, Dimitri, Lucien Foort, Secret Cinema, Sander Kleinenberg, and many others.
In recent years, Tino has turned his focus to music production and launched a new project, aiming to bring a fresh sound to the floor — think greasy, shifting basslines, a fusion of rocking beats, and global, ethnic influences. It's all crafted to keep the audience engaged and moving, with no room for boredom.
He's also one of the founding forces behind Haarlem-based collectives like Undercurrent and Rahim, who've been organizing events for many years in venues such as Patronaat and Woodstock. Tino continues to be a driving presence both behind the decks and behind the scenes.
