Zoals de traditie inmiddels voorschrijft staat Tacnival ook dit jaar weer bol van de verrassingen met meer dan 30 DJs en live-acts verdeeld over vier zalen. of waren het er meer? Omlijst met lekkere snacks, kunst en nog veel meer leuke creatieve dingen ben je de tel immers al snel kwijt!

As the tradition meanwhile dictates, Tacnival is again full of surprises this year with over 30 DJs and live acts spread over 4 areas ... or were there more? Framed with tasty food, art and much more fun and creative stuff, one loses count quickly.

Zodiak Commune – Tacnival celebrates its fifth anniversary
Tacnival celebrates its fifth anniversary this already, which will be celebrated on July 12, 2014. As the tradition meanwhile dictates, Tacnival is again full of surprises this year with over 30 DJs and live acts spread over 4 areas ... or were there more? Framed with tasty food, art and much more fun and creative stuff, one loses count quickly.
This year, the intimate festival in the Temporary Art Centre (TAC) distincts itself with an area hosting by Groener Gras, a live performance by Mur du Son and a special area for Geluidsdrug. Groener Gras represents a significant history of parties in Eindhoven, after all they are already putting the fat in the fire for over 10 years with a nice mix of Spacdisco, Italo, Wave, Afro and Funk, in a wide range of legal or illegal locations. A few steps further into the labyrinth of TAC, the Café program of easy going Electro, Acid, Disco and Techno is being paused for a live show that rocks like a train; Mur du Son. With computerized beats, greasy synths, screaming guitars and raw vocals, the musical branched Tacnival feeling erupts in all its facets with Mur du Son. In the meantime in a new hall, the synths, drum machines and samplers are being plugged-in for a Geluidsdrug Electronic Jam Session. Electronic music lovers eat your heart out, because here you can have a very close look over the shoulders of musicians and maybe even play along yourself.
Where the Tapaszaal this year is marked again by crackling Drum 'n Bass, Dubstep and Jungle with known and unknown talent like Naphrodite and Running at Idle; the Tuinzaal revolves as usual around Acid, Techno Tekno. Here, the tune is called by live-acts like Nerds With Acid and Acidolido and fresh names like Kev, Lauphnoice and Angeldust. In addition to 12 hours of the best music from the most diverse branches of the underground, during Tacnival you'll also find art in various capacities, tasty food, tape art and much more. Like this everyone is receiving his slice of cake during Tacnival every year, because in addition to the musical and creative aspect Tacnival remains the party of choice for hanging around and chatting with friends and vague acquaintances and chilling in the courtyard of the former Philips staff shop.
