Ruim een maand voor Armin Only 2010 - Mirage in de Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, zijn alle kaartjes voor dit concert van Armin van Buuren al uitverkocht. 15.000 Armin fans en tranceliefhebbers staan klaar om 13 november de aftrap van de Armin Only 2010 wereldtour mee te maken. 11
Echte fans van Armin van Buuren weten het allang; er komt dit jaar weer een artiestenalbum uit. It’s been a while since ‘Imagine’ conquered both hearts and minds of Armin’s true fans all over the world. On a large stage in the middle of the crowd Armin played a nine-hour DJ set, accompanied by guest singers and artist friends such as Chris Jones, Jennifer Rene, Cathy Burton and Rank 1. The gigs in every city the ‘Imagine’ tour visited were fantastically successful. The events sold out way in advance and excited visitors experienced a joyful night on the dancefloor.
Memorable moments include when thousands of lit-up cellphones were lifted in the air, and numerous shots were taken with those same mobiles when an angel appeared high above the DJ booth during ‘Burned With Desire’. After the last record, satisfied crowds went home with just one question on their minds: ‘Is it possible to top this night?’
Album – ‘Mirage’
After the last ‘Imagine’ tour, a period of rest was necessary for all the crew involved to recover. However, taking time off was not something Armin had in mind for himself. He spent every single moment his busy DJ schedule would allow in the studio, working on the follow-up to ‘Imagine’. Being the perfectionist he is, Armin took all the time he felt was necessary to add another chapter to his impressive discography.
The result is now here: ‘Mirage’ will be released on Armada Music on the 10th of September. It’s a very diverse album, filled with lots of surprises and thrilling collaborations. To serve as a treat for fans who find it hard to wait that long, the album is preceded by the floor-filler ‘Full Focus’ – released worldwide on the 24th of June. This is a purely instrumental track that’s bound to make people dance at every festival Armin plays this summer. And then, when autumn falls, another journey begins…
Armin Only – ‘Mirage’
Armin, triple winner of the prestigious DJ MAG Top 100 DJs poll, is a true perfectionist. Even though he’s been ranked amongst the world’s top-flight DJs for quite a few years now, this is no reason for him to rest on his laurels. There’s always room for improvement, and this is the attitude he demands from his crew as well. No wonder things at the office of Alda Events have been hectic lately, as the last preparations are made for the world tour of Armin Only – ‘Mirage’.
No real information about the show has been made public yet. However, knowing Armin, it is safe to say that the ‘Mirage’ show will bring an overwhelming amount of audio-visual highlights, state-of-the-art show acts and surprising guest-appearances. More than ever, interaction with the crowd is an essential component of the night. Harmony is the magic word, and a perfectly arranged production is the key to create this, although the main focus will obviously be on Armin himself, mixing all the ingredients into a wonderful treat for the audience. The whole performance will be under the umbrella term ‘Mirage’. It’s a word used in several ways, but for Armin it only means one thing:
Armin: “To me ‘Mirage’ represents the feeling of euphoria I am filled with when I see the happiness of the crowd in front of me during my set. At that point I share my passion for music with everyone around me. When there is that special connection between all of us, it almost seems like a blanket of positive energy covering the crowd. I am fully aware of it and I live for that moment 200%. To me ‘Mirage’ is the perfect expression to capture that untouchable feeling which is so vividly present at the same time.”
Those moments of euphoria are about to happen again all over the world. After the success of ‘Imagine’, the demand for this tour could only increase. Already the ‘Mirage’ tour will be covering five continents and nearly twenty cities, all of which will be announced shortly.

Ik was voor het eerst op een trancefeest en ik kan je vertellen dat ik behoorlijk heb staan genieten, van de sfeer, de muziek en de hele show er omheen!

ik ben er niet geweest, maar wat ik zag bij bnn was dat de show en geluid i.t.t. 2008 stukken beter was en dr kwamen ook wel wat aardige plaatjes voorbij maar valt me op laatste paar jaar dat Armin tracht Tiesto te evenaren en dat maakt hem juist zo voorspelbaar. Armin onderscheidde zich een jaar of 6 van tiesto door zn platenkeus, label etc maar probeert nu de 2de tiesto te worden. Jammer, want de tiesto's in concert en zijn performance en platenkeuze kan armin niet aan tippen..

, maar toevallig die avond wel....enne op twee redbull sugarfree, super muziek en een goed humeur is het echt VET genieten!!!!! Kunnen genieten van iets zit in jezelf, je kunt het leren...te beginnen met iedereen vergeven die op je tenen trapt of tegen je aan botstlaatste aanpassing
Als je even goed had gelezen, had je gezien dat ik niet eens ben gegaan en daar achteraf blij om ben, zulke crap tracks is die 50 euro totaal onwaardig! maarja veel mensen hier weten niet wat goede trance muziek is, zolang de massa maar geniet zo denken mensen als Armin, PVD, Emery, maar zo is het niet, je moet gewoon inhoud aan je set geven en geen aso hitjes parade en veel te vaak gedraaide net niet classics gaan draaien tracks als in and out of love, kom op zeg die troep zou je niet moeten draaien, laat staan uitgeven.......

Armin draaide zoals verwacht heel gevarieerd & alle trance stijlen. Van progressive naar stevige uplifting & van nieuwe hits tot gouwe oude classics. Zo hoort het wat mij betreft. Op dit feest in ieder geval.

Het wordt nog beter... ik heb nog eens zitten zoeken en wat blijkt nou; het is ook niet meer toegestaan voor dj's om tracks van Armada in hun podcasts e.d. te gebruiken. Menno de Jong moest bijv. zijn podcasts offline halen, en Steve Helstrip (Thrillseekers) mocht niet eens zijn EIGEN track draaien in zijn EIGEN radioshow, omdat deze bij Armada getekend was. Dit betekent dus dat als je een track tekent bij Armada, dat deze alleen gedraaid mag worden in ASOT en nergens anders, niet eens in je eigen show met je eigen track...
Dit zijn de regels die ze hanteren:

Er zijn al veel bekende producers/dj's die het ook niet eens zijn met deze manier van werken.

Echt jammer, want ik vind het een toplabel en veel releases en cd's vind ik erg goed en draai ik ook.

tjee zeg wat een gezeik allemaal, over filmpjes, fotos en verwijderen er van, jee zeg er zijn ergere dingen op de wereld. als je het niet leuk vindt, nou dan ga je gewoon niet meer naar een feestje, en houd je de filmpjes fotos lekker voor jezelf. Als je het feest niet leuk vond, blijf dan ook lekker thuis de volgende keer. ik heb genoten vond het super en next time ben ik er weer bij. mensen mensen, wees blij dat je gezond bent en leuke feestjes kan mee maken met leuke vrienden. Want dat is het belangrijkste. ik zeg Armin rules!!!! Feestjes rules, vrienden rules, happy together at a party rules!!! wees blij met het leuke leven wat je hebt. Ik ken mensen die dat niet hebben of genoeg mee maken om veel zorgen te moeten hebben........

Tis wel jammer dat ze alle eigengemaakte filmpjes er af halen, de echte liefhebber koopt de dvd toch wel, hoor
tjee zeg wat een gezeik allemaal, over filmpjes, fotos en verwijderen er van, jee zeg er zijn ergere dingen op de wereld. als je het niet leuk vindt, nou dan ga je gewoon niet meer naar een feestje, en houd je de filmpjes fotos lekker voor jezelf. Als je het feest niet leuk vond, blijf dan ook lekker thuis de volgende keer. ik heb genoten vond het super en next time ben ik er weer bij. mensen mensen, wees blij dat je gezond bent en leuke feestjes kan mee maken met leuke vrienden. Want dat is het belangrijkste. ik zeg Armin rules!!!! Feestjes rules, vrienden rules, happy together at a party rules!!! wees blij met het leuke leven wat je hebt. Ik ken mensen die dat niet hebben of genoeg mee maken om veel zorgen te moeten hebben........

Klaus Schulze is een van de eerste inspirators van Armin. Hij heeft mede de muziekstijl van Armin gevormd. Enkele jaren geleden heeft Schulze (nee niet Marcus Schulz) samen gewerkt met Lisa Gerrard. niet alleen stukkie quoten, want armin had altijd een eigen geluid zeker door zn ASOT en eigen producties, maar zn ontwikkelingen in zn carriere begint op mij over te komen als een soort van tiesto aftreksel en daarom des te meer respect voor Ferry

op dit filmpje van Armada dat Mirage promoot, is juist zo duidelijk te zien hoe gigantisch veel mensen de show hebben gefilmd. wil Armada al deze mensen nou werkelijk straffen omdat zij hun beleving van de avond vastleggen en die ook willen delen met andere fans?????
de zelfgemaakte filmpjes halen het toch niet bij de kwaliteit van deze opname? en doen er toch ook niets aan af?? Het voegt alleen maar toe!
Misschien dat zij hun beleid aan willen passen als we met zijn allen hiertegen in opstand komen.

Zat ik ook aan te denken maar geen idee hoe je dat zou moeten doen, denk ook niet dat het enig effect zou hebben
Ze zijn gewoon erg groot geworden en nu bezig om een monopoliepositie te creëren. Je kan nergens kijken of je ziet wel Armada staan.
Dat ze podcasts offline halen omdat er vrijwel complete Armada-tracks in zitten kan ik nog volgen, maar Youtube accounts verwijderen vanwege digi-filmpjes... nee.
