Biografie
Starting out as a young boy on the guitar, KAAP developed himself as a true D.I.Y. man. This resulted in stacks of records in every corner of his home. His studio is the ultimate dream for most producers. From 808's to insane synths and MPC's: he is fully equiped. His studio is the only box you can really put him in: being influenced by artists like Motor City Drum Ensemble, Levon Vincent and Huerco S, it's impossible to label this gifted producer with a certain genre.
His love for analogue sounds shines through in his dj sets and his music. Whether the music comes from a cassette or some old dusty drum computer. His sound is raw, spacy, grainy and dirty. Always bringing something unique to the table. It surely shaked the walls of clubs like Prince Charles in Berlin and Silbergold in Frankfurt, to name a few.
