Armada@Panama meets BANG! with DJ Remy Solo
Saturday March 31st Armada@Panama and BANG will combine forces for a special occasion. This evening will be all about the 4 hour set of the man who brought House en Techno music to the Netherlands. Of course we are talking about DJ REMY.
DJ Remy, also called “The Hague’s Hero” is a House / Techno DJ from the very begin. After being successful with gigs all around the world with, Silly Symfonies party’s and his residency in the famous Dutch discotheque “Roxy”, Remy has come to a new dimension.
After Remy made the switch in 2006 from his former record label to Armada Music, his career boosted again. Remy founded his own 68 Recordings label within Armada and the same year he released some massive tracks like ‘Crackdown’, ‘Nasty Ho’ and ‘Ignite’.
2006 also was the year of the very first BANG! This is a half yearly concept and carries the same name as the album Remy released in 2003.
During the first BANG! Edition Remy played a four hour set and this Saturday, he will do it again at this Armada@Panama special edition!!
But before Remy takes his place behind the wheels he will get the perfect warm up by his ‘BANG! buddy’ Frederik
Frederik is 50% of the Pako & Frederik duo. As a cooperation they released some records on the highly prestigious John Digweed ‘Bedrock’ label and on one of the world most famous labels ‘Global Underground’. Their records also were hammered and picked up by the ‘Renaissance & Global Underground’ compilations.
Also as a DJ, Frederik added some impressive clubs to his list. He played at ‘I Love Techno’ (Amnesia, Ibiza) , John Digweed’s ‘Bedrock Nights’ (London) and many more….
In short, this man knows what to do…!!
Of course Famous will be hosting the studio again. This will be done by one of Holland’s best producers of the moment ‘Mischa Daniëls’. Mischa can rightfully be called one of Holland’s hottest producers at the moment. Remix requests are offered to him from all over the world. We all hope he brings this ‘vibe’ with him to Panama, so we can experience this ‘Magic Mischa’ touch…!!
