Dan luister je echt niet goed.. er zit zooooveeel verschil in de dj's.. bijna iedereen heeft zn eigen sound/ stijl..

Ik geloof je, maar ik hoor het gewoon niet alleen Adaro springt er uit.
Ach, hardstyle is ook mijn ding niet ik vind een feestje zo nu en dan wel eens lekker en de show is meestal wat mooier als bij trance maar zal het thuis of in de auto nooit opzetten, wordt na 10 minuten al knettergek

LOCKERS
Lockers will be available at the event and can be paid with cash of by debit- or credit card. The lockers can be used to store any excess luggage you might have. Het nieuwe album van Gareth Emery ziet er veelbelovend uit....zo staat er ook de zeer fijne track 'Hands' op....tja, ik weet het..zoetsappig, geen 138...maar ik vind 'm zeer fijn

TIME AND TICKETS
The event will start with at 21:00 CET. At 19:30 CET the doors to the entrance hall will open. Here you can wait until you are allowed to enter the actual festival venue. For both regular ticket and deluxe ticket the doors to the festival venue will open at 20:00 CET, the show will start at 21:00 CET

ENTRANCE
On your ticket you will find the info regarding the entrance you should use. The type of entrance depends on the type of ticket you have. If the entrance you're trying to get in does not correspond with the one on your ticket, you will be redirected to the end of the queue again for the right entrance.

Entrance A Regular ticket
Entrance B Deluxe ticket

Make sure to bring your ID and ticket to the event. The minimum age for the event is 18+. We cannot grant access to visitors younger than 18. It is therefore important to take legal identification with you for security to check your age.

TIMETABLE AND EVENTMAP
We will issue an event guide. Here, you'll find a map with an overview of all the different stages and their corresponding timetable. Furthermore, the map shows you all other relevant information concerning the location of the Radio Dome, toilets, lockers, the first aid station, smoking areas, food courts, token registers and the merchandise stand.

People with Deluxe tickets are allowed to go through a special Deluxe lane, to enter the MainStage. Find these in the map below.



RADIO DOME
During A State of Trance Festival in Utrecht we’ll have the A State Of Trance Radio Dome. The Radio Dome is situated in its own area and is a seethrough, glass dome. Visitors can look inside the Radio Dome, can tune into the radio show and listen to the mainstage & exclusive interviews with DJs. On entry you will be handed a headphone, which is tuned in to the sounds of the Radio Dome. The Radio Dome is a silent disco area, so you will feel like a part of the radio dome.

When the area of the Radio Dome is full, further access will be denied due to safety measures. You can come back later on.

ASOT GIFT
The early ticketbuyers who were lucky enough to reserve a free ASOT gift can collect their special gift at the info stand (see location on the map). Make sure to bring you gift e-ticket in order to collect your gift.

LOCKERS

TOKENS
You can quickly and easily pay with tokens. You can get these at one of the token points. You can purchase them with cash, your debit or credit card (Maestro, Visa, MasterCard).

If you've purchased a token ticket online, make sure to collect your tokens at the left entrance lane once you enter the venue or at the info stand two hours prior the end of the show Here you can show your token ticket and you'll receive 10.5 tokens.

FOOD AND DRINKS
You are not allowed to bring in your own food and drinks. There will be various food courts at the venue that will provide both food and drinks. Payments can be done with tokens.

Buy a customized ASOT - Join the Pipe water bottle at the Join The Pipe stand and help developing nations gain access to clean drinking water. For every bottle sold, we will donate a bottle to school children in Africa. Buy one, give one. How does it work?
1) Charge your chip at the Join the Pipe kiosk
2) Hold your bottle/chip against the scanner
3) Place your bottle beneath the tap

DRESSCODE
In order to make sure that everyone can enjoy the event please make sure to dress appropriately for the event. Please refrain from wearing any football related attire and other clothing that might offend people.

FIRST AID
There will be a first aid station present at the venue. Here, you will need to report any prescription medicine you might need during the event. Any other items you need for your personal health, can also be reported here. When you are in need of medical assistance during the event you can report at the first aid station. The first aid station is clearly indicated on the event map.

PEOPLE WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES
There will be special lanes for people with physical disabilities. The special lanes are located inside each of the regular entrances. Upon entering the venue you may use these lanes, only when you're prevented from using the regular entrance lanes due to physical disabilities. There will be no disability zones present in the different area's during the event itself.

SAFETY MEASURES & ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
For the safety of you and those around you, please refrain from bringing any objects that can be used to bring harm to yourself or others. You are not allowed to bring weapons or any other items that can be used as a weapon. When found, these items will be confiscated by security.

There will be a zero tolerance policy in regard to soft drugs, hard drugs and other illegal substances. The distribution, the use and carriage of drugs or any other illegal substances will result in direct eviction from the event. The authorities will be notified whenever large quantities are found. You may be subject to a security check upon entering the premises.

PICKPOCKETS
Beware of pickpockets at and around the venue. Keep an eye on your personal belongings and those of your friends!

TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORT
Train
The Jaarbeurs is positioned next to Utrecht Central Station and therefore has a great accessibility by train. From Utrecht Central Station, follow the signs that read ‘Jaarbeursplein’. It is a five-minute walk to the Beatrix Building or the venue of the Jaarbeurs. Plan your public transport trip here: http://9292.nl/en.

By car
If you are travelling by car, please follow the blue ANWB signs that read ‘Jaarbeurs’ from the Utrecht Ring Road. Jaarbeurs has ample parking space on its own grounds in the centre of Utrecht. For current information on the accessibility of the Utrecht city centre and any roadworks in the area, please visit www.goedopweg.nl. Visitors for the Jaarbeurs can park at P3. Parking tickets for A State of Trance are available and cost €14,-.

LOST AND FOUND
In case you lose any of your personal belongings, make sure to check with security whether someone has found them. In case you lost or found something, you can inform at the information stand about lost or found items. I LOVE MY EARS
Please take care of your ears! With music above 87 dB it is smart to use earplugs with a special music filter. With these earplugs you can still hear the music perfectly, conversations remain intelligible and most important of all, you prevent hearing damage and the annoying ringing after the event. In addition the Alpine PartyPlug earplugs are super comfortable. During ASOT Festival Utrecht Alpine PartyPlug earplugs will be available at the Information/Lost & Found booth. The PartyPlug earplugs are reusable, so you can protect your ears not only at ASOT Festival but on other events as well. Love your ears!

To protect you from hearing loss, you can purchase earplugs at the earplugs stand or at the info stand.

SPECIAL CELEBRATION MOMENT
During A State of Trance festival Utrecht we will celebrate A State of Trance 15th anniversary with a 15 minutes celebration moment at the MainStage from 00:30 until 00:45. This special celebration moment will be a musical highlight of the past 15 years with spectacular visuals and several special effects. When the area of the MainStage is full, further access will be denied due to safety measures. You can come back later on and try again.

VINYL SET
If you think you've seen it all, you're wrong! As you can see on the timetable, Armin van Buuren will play a Vinyl set from 04:45 until 06:00 at the MainStage, goosebumps guaranteed! VISIT THE RADIO DOME
Have you ever wanted to be IN the radio dome? Maybe you're one of the lucky few who gets selected during the night for a short visit in the radio dome where you can meet Armin van Buuren himself and experience the amazing vibes of a live radio broadcast. Pff heb je het over Hardstyle? Ben echt jarenlang Hardstyle minded geweest, alle feesten en ook zelf gedraait. Maar zeggen dat er veel verschil zit in DJ's, kan ik echt niet inkomen. Met name de kicks, maar ook de gebruikte synths en sowieso de hele opbouw is nagenoeg altijd hetzelfde kauwsel. Sowieso lijken alle line-ups op elkaar, geldt ook voor ASOT, maar binnen heel het genre is er gewoon niet zo heel veel soeps. Trance is wat dat betreft veel breder. Voor mijn gevoel kun je Harstyle qua breedte naast 138 trance zetten. Waarbij 138 dus slechts een deel van Trance is

Eens met Sjaak23. Hardstyle is niet echt heel breed als genre.

Dat maakt het niet minder vet. Ik ben een grote fan van melodieuze (de vrolijke euforische) variant van hardstyle. Die duistere hardstyle en hardcore moet ik dan weer niks van hebben.

Dat maakt het niet minder vet.

100% hoe ik erin sta. Tijd voor geen goud willen missen, wat een gevoel met die muziek heb ik altijd gehad
Ik zat vroeger altijd aan de rauwe kant, maar dat is volledig doorgeslagen. Daardoor is de euforische ook weer extremer geworden en spreekt het geheel mij niet meer aan. Beide varianten niet meer voor mij!

Dat is inderdaad een heel mooi stuk. Zoiets bezorgd mij kippenvel. Ik kan een hardstyle feest zo nu en dan echt waarderen. Lopen wel hele andere types rond... Trance publiek vind ik fijner.

Ik vraag me dan af of dat resulteert uit beleid van Alda, of dat Paylogic zelf zaken bedenkt en doorvoert. Dat laatste, daar lijkt het op en dat wil je niet als organisatie.

Dit is een betere reactie.

Ik had nog geen kaartje en heb er een gekocht toen ik hier las dat er goedkopere kaartjes in de verkoop gingen. Die gift boeit me niet en ik zie het als een paar gratis tokens.
Ik kon me echter niet voorstellen dat deze actie uit de koker van ALDA kwam.

En nu blijkt dat ook niet het geval te zijn. Paylogic stuurt net een mail dat het een fout van hen is. Copy paste:

Na het succes van de 'ondekkingsmix' voor ASOT700 en electronic family van vorig jaar, hebben ik en mede PF-er MickyBitter dit jaar weer een ontdekkingsmix gemaakt voor ASOT Festival! Voor de beginnende trance luisteraar om te horen wat hem/haar het meest aan spreekt en voor de ervaren partyganger om iets nieuws te ontdekken (of gewoon lekker te luisteren )!

De regels zijn hetzelfde als de vorige editie:
- Één recent uitgebrachte track per artiest uit de ASOT750 utrecht lineup
- Het nummer moet een originele mix van hemzelf of een samenwerking met iemand anders zijn
- Moet recent gedraaid zijn in zijn/hun liveset zodat je weet wat je zaterdag kan verwachten!

Uiteindelijk hebben we 28 nummers weten te proppen in 83 minuten! De tracklist staat vermeld op de soundcloud website

Als het dus bij Paylogic ligt is een excuus richting ALDA voor de verhitte reactie wel op zijn plaats, bij deze.

Gaat goed dan bij paylogic, juli al €19 service kosten en geen gift even later wel weer gift en de helft service kosten.
Uitverkocht volgende dag weer niet, 2 weken later Early birds met gift (die nou weer worden ingetrokken) in een prijstabel die niemand begreep

Kaartverkoopsysteem benadeeld dus de klanten van de opdrachtgever en de opdrachtgever zelf omdat die er op aangekeken wordt.

Een pluspunt, kan dus gewoon Earl birds halen voor Electronic Family en heeft het dus wel voordeel om vroeg aan de "kassa" te verschijnen

Hoe is de sfeer over het algemeen in de mainstage? Het wordt mijn eerste ASOT aangezien ik net 18 ben maar ik twijfel nu enorm of ik naar Armin of Protoculture moet gaan. Vaak zie je dat bij de mainstage wat meer dagjes mensen staan die het allemaal wel best vinden ipv de echte liefhebbers. Hoe hebben jullie dat de afgelopen jaren ervaren? Ik zal er hoe dan ook wel staan tijdens PvD en de vinyl set! Voor de rest knallen in de 138 en voor Push eventjes naar de 15 years

Totaal niet mee eens! Argentinië is de enige asot die een goede line up heeft gehad. Voor de rest heeft Armin ons altijd verwent door de beste en grootste line up in Nederland te doen.

Kijk maar naar de line up van ASOT ULTRA of die van elke ASOT van de afgelopen paar jaar in het buitenland en vergelijk dat met die van Nederland.
