We’re very excited to bring this illustrious pair of devoted vinyl DJ’s to delve and dabble into everything from Disco to Soul to House and back again for an extended set at SOUL BONES. Session Victim unleashes an unparalleled energy behind the decks, just take a glance at their boiler-room sessions. The late James Brown aside, you won’t find anyone with a more visceral connection with soul than Session Victim in the midst of a DJ set. Their live set pitches the energy levels up even further, the frenzied head banging of two friends jamming like their lives depend on it. It’s their passion for uncovering dusty vinyl treasures that inspire both their DJ sets and production environment. We can assure everybody, these talented guys will make your jaws drop.

Mr. Mendel is a DJ who is exceptionally dedicated to his craft. His selections are characterized by passionate and intriguing tunes, making a wonderful symbiosis of Disco, Brazil, Soul and House. You’ll recognize his diverse influences, from Amsterdam’s soulful school of DJs like Hunee, Antal & Marcel Vogel to Chicago’s (ware)house DJs like Rahaan, Sadar Bahar & Ron Trent. The last two years Mr. Mendel has been touring extensively through Europe and beyond. In the meantime, he released edits on Lumberjacks in Hell, Disco Deviance, and Basic Fingers, as well as curated the tropical playlist for 22tracks Amsterdam. We are honored to have him.
