ADE Sound Lab is a three day program covering everything about sound, where sound synthesis, audiovisual art and innovative ways to produce sound are shared, demonstrated, discussed and developed.
The program on ADE's Thursday, Friday and Saturday includes ADE MusicTalks, with speakers such as Jeff Mills 🇺🇸, Joris Voorn 🇳🇱 and Machinedrum 🇺🇸 talking about the ‘evolution of their sound’, the worldwide premiere of a live performance by Detroit Swindle 🇳🇱 & Nick Verstand 🇳🇱. There will also be Modular Battles with Richard Devine 🇺🇸 X Thijs de Vlieger 🇳🇱, Sjamsoedin 🇳🇱 X Colin Benders 🇳🇱, an analog synth expo, visual art installations, workshops and master classes from Ableton by the people behind artists like Kölsch 🇩🇰 and Dubfire 🇺🇸, as well as the active presence of leading brands such as Moog and Roland.

ADE Sound Lab features a focus on modular synthesizers, which are currently enjoying a new wave of popularity. During the event sound pioneers will show what they are working on and will help others to further develop their talent. The program also includes several specialized synth-building workshops by Moog and Ginko Synthese, and a modular synth market with lots of opportunities to try things out and experiment.
