Sugarfactory tijdens ADE: 5 nachten en 3 ochtenden gevuld met techno en house van (inter)nationale kwaliteitslabels

Met trots presenteert Sugar Factory de tiende nacht- en afterparty programmering voor Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). Tussen 14 en 18 oktober komen nationale en internationale topartiesten samen voor een vijftal bijzondere etmalen in de intieme club dichtbij Leidseplein. Kerri Chandler presenteert Kaoz Theory Label Takeover, Roush en WOW! slaan de handen in één en schuiven Popof en Hector Couto naar voren. Ook komt NGHTDVSN presents Systematic terug. Wie er geen genoeg van krijgt, kan 's ochtends terecht op de afterparty's met oa. Art Department, Alex Bau en Flashmob. Daarnaast heeft Sugar Factory een programma in de vooravonden met live-electronica en theater.
Wicked Jazz Sounds is a weekly Sunday club, night running since 2002, where jazz meets dance. DJs and musicians play together on a danceable mix of jazz, hip hop, soul, funk, house, disco, latin, electronica and more. Making you dance with a smile!
On this ADE editon Wicked Jazz Sounds has invited Gallowstreet for a special night concert. After rocking this years first Wicked Jazz Sounds Festival this energetic live band was a logical choice. Our other guest also makes a first appearance at the ADE festival. Faisal from Belgium is a young upcoming eclectic dancefloor genius.
On this ADE editon Wicked Jazz Sounds has invited Gallowstreet for a special night concert. After rocking this years first Wicked Jazz Sounds Festival this energetic live band was a logical choice. Gallowstreet is first and foremost a brass band, but don’t let that title fool you! Sounds that wouldn't strike a wrong chord in a crowded house festival or a sweaty basement party emanate from the large group of Dutch instrumentalists. Hailing from the Galgenstraat in Amsterdam ("Gallowstreet" in English) they come forth to trap, ensnare and deliver the hardest-hitting brass noise you've never heard before. Inspired by vibrant Amsterdam nightlife the boys from the Gallowstreet take their cues from DJs and producers to develop a new approach to live music. Their translation of famous house, trap and hip-hop tracks works magic on every crowd. Gallowstreet’s solid live reputation earned them a spot on last year’s Pitch Festival (electronic music festival), Dour Festival, Wicked Jazz Sounds Festival & Eurosonic Noorderslag (Europe’s premier tastemaker showcase) in 2014. Now fans will be able to own the music with the release of Gallowstreet’s self-titled debut EP, available 18 October.
DJ/Producer Faisal is a young rising star from Belgium. As a DJ he is a regular guest at Studio Brussel. His bootlegs are being played by DJs worldwide who care about R&B and Soul. He is not afraid to mix DJ LeFtO, Gilles Peterson, Mr. Oizo, DJ Mehdi and Erol Alkan in one great ass shaking dance extravaganza.
Since 2002 Wicked Jazz Sounds has step by step grown from a party organization into a musical platform. A family of music lovers; musicians and DJs who do what they love with heart and soul... living with music and making that music. They look to music in the widest way possible. They see jazz as a genre where a lot of other music came from. That is why they also consider funk, soul, hiphop, disco, electronica, latin and even house as their musical base. They get their inspiration from the newest dance floor killers and music from the old heroes.
