I started powerlifting in august, after being the local gym rat.. I train powerlifting 3-6 times a week, and have my first competition this saturday :)

You don't need to be a big guy.
What u need is skills.
Technique alway's wins from strenght.

Let's just say i got blue belt tae kwondo.
So i realy don't need strenght.

And otherwise, i started working out because i tought it would be an good combination.
And with that, im training dry, not to grow bigger.

It certainly won't hurt being strong :) If you're too weak, technique wont help you much against the most basic strong fighters anyway...

You got it at the wrong end there bud.
The trick of tae kwondo is using the strenght of your oponent against himself.
So the stronger and heavier or bigger he is.
It only becomes easyer to kick his butt 8)
Only there's one point what is pretty important though.
If your oponent is very strong, it would be wise to stay out of his arms (Y)
But when you master your techniques, it won't be that hard to dodge a slow powerfull guy.
I think the most important thing is how u feel...training is allways good for your health,for fun...abaut getting big is up to everybody choise...and take allot of work and sacrifice;)
 
being fit is good, i have a wii and i excersize every day on it

Depends what u train and with who;)...fighting lessons or defense...or i don t know,dancing...I guess they are not that boring...but ennyway 3 times i think is enough on the week...for a goed condition and is healthy:D:D:D
I did kickboxing for more than 5 years, twice a week and i've stopped 2 years ago. I'm done with it but it was fun! :)
Now i only do fitness and this is fucking boring but necessary... :(
Yeah is true...is necessary for the condition...i do belive that kickboxing was allot of fun:D:D:D...

I realy enjoy fitness.
Try to break my record every (training)day.
More fat burning, more power, more weights, more excercises etc.

The exercices are boring. Running, biking and all these stuffs that you find in a fitness center are really boring compare to kickboxing or even another sport like handball or volley...I don't see the fun, sorry,not my stuff.I'm glad when it's over :lol:

Ah like that.
Mostly i train with a friend.
So we can motivate eachother or push eachother and do competitions and stuff.
Is way less boring.
I realy enjoy training, and besides that.
It's good for your health too :p
