Genoeg toffe feesten, festivals en beachparties deze zomer, maar Armada Music kijkt stiekem toch het meest uit naar het einde van de zomer. Vlak na zonsondergang op 12 september vindt namelijk de tweede Armada Night van 2009 plaats. Andy Moor, Josh Gabriel, Robert Nickson en ElSandro zijn de 'lucky 4' om deze warme zomer met een nog heter hoogtepunt af te sluiten. 9

On September 12th, when the holiday season ends, the second Armada Night of 2009 will take place. Armada Music is proud to announce the official line-up. Andy Moor, Josh Gabriel, Robert Nickson and ElSandro are the four names to be found behind the decks during Armada Night.
Since December 2008, Andy Moor and his Ava Recordings label have been officially part of the Armada family. Andy Moor, currently holding the number 18 position in the DJ Mag Top 100, gained reputation with tracks like 'Halcyon', 'Air For Life' and 'Faces'. Next to that, he received a Grammy nomination for his remix of 'Delerium - Angelicus' and won several Trance and International Dance Music Awards. Andy is known for his mix of melodic progressive and big room trance.

In the past 25 years, Josh Gabriel, owner of the Different Pieces label, has caused quite a stir in music industry. Josh is known for his strong productions and collaborations, such as 'Andain - Beautiful Things', 'Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes' and 'Gabriel & Dresden - Tracking Treasure Down'. After waving off the legendary Gabriel and Dresden team-up, Josh switched from trance to a more progressive and tech-house oriented sound in 2008. He also founded Different Pieces, that became part of Armada in January 2009. At Armada Night, Josh will showcase his diverse sound, a clash of house, progressive and tech-house.
To serve the Armada fans their necessary portion of trance, Armada Music booked in-house producer/DJ Robert Nickson. Robert is known as 'resident-producer' of the A State of Trance label, on which his 'Spiral', 'Circles' and recent collabs with Daniel Kandi, 'Liberate' and 'Rewire', were released. With DJ gigs in Australia, Indonesia, New-Zealand, Argentina and with Armada Night as a closing, it looks set to be a beautiful but busy summer.
Last, but definitely not least in this line-up of top-names, we find Armada Night resident ElSandro. As A&R Manager of Armada, he always knows how to pick up the right tracks and play them in his warm progressive, housy sets. As opener of the night, he carries the important task to warm up the crowd for all else that's coming up.
With the four of them, Andy Moor, Josh Gabriel , Robert Nickson and ElSandro will close down the summer in style.

heeft even geduurd voordat ie in de agenda stond. Tickets zijn inmiddels binnen.
Nu begint het grote raden naar de line-up. Dacht ik in eerste instantie nog aan Markus voor zijn beloofde GDJB, nu hij de 19e ook al in Nederland is betwijfel ik of dat er wel van komt. Blijft nietemin een mooie gedachte om Markus een keer in een dergelijke kleine en intieme locatie te zien.
Zou voor de rest leuk zijn als ze wederom kiezen voor klein aantal DJ's die dan een lekker lang setje kunnen neerzetten.

Armada night in mei was echt ontzettend leuk, heb ik echt van genoten!! Ik begin sowieso fan te worden van de Westerunie, gezellige en lekker kleine locatie! Ik zou graag Blake Jarrell willen zien!!

Btw, heb m'n vrije dagen maar vast geregeld voor ADE. Rond die periode wordt er zo'n verplichte bedrijfsdag gepland (vorig jaar precies met Armada) en als die datum staat kan ik geen vrij vragen.
