Verwacht uitdagende, lange sets vol experiment en zinderende house, acid, disco en soulvolle grooves. Deze avond staat in het teken van eclectische sets en hoge energie met AliA en askmelater aan het roer. Twee technisch enorm sterke DJ’s die niet bang zijn te springen tussen genre’s en het tempo te laten variëren.
De Belgische AliA is al langere tijd hoge ogen aan het gooien. Met een ADE-debuut op haar 17e en een gigantische lijst aan notable boekingen, zoals Boiler Room, Dekmantel en Horst in haar achterzak is de inmiddels 23-jarige DJ iemand die al lang bovenaan de shortlist staat. Als DJ die technisch sterk is, moeiteloos tussen genres switcht en met durf en zelfvertrouwen het tempo van de avond bepaalt, past ze perfect binnen het plaatje van WEERD. Van soulful house tot jungle tot jazz, de hyper-eclectische set van AliA zal ongetwijfeld een turbulente rit zijn, in de meest positieve zin van het woord.
