Noorderlicht organiseert op zaterdag 19 januari de eerste editie van JSF Live, een nieuwe avond vol energieke, dansbare jazz, soul en funk in een hedendaags jasje. Met 2 live-acts en 2 dj's wordt er tot diep in de nacht gegrooved, gefunked en gehip-hopt met de "New York soul" als stevige basis van het muzikale geheel.
A new Noorderlicht favorite. Noorderlicht meets New York soul. This will be the kick-off of an epic series. You don't wanna miss this. It's going down.
Real music, real inspiration, a party for music lovers and creative folk, dripping with *SOUL* and authenticity. Boogie with like-minded songbirds into the early hours to the newest funk, jazz, hiphop and soul.
Two live bands, some room for jamming, and of course an epic DJ with the crème de la crème of what's cooking in the soul jar at the moment.
Reminiscent of places like Café Wha? and Nuyorican poets cafe, JSF is a shout out to the soul, funk, jazz and hiphop scene of Brooklyn and Manhattan..sorta like a New Williamsburg.
