Since 2006, HOSH has been an integral cog in the Diynamic wheel (alongside sometime flat mate and label boss Solomun and frequent collaborator Stimming) and, as a result, has helped steer house music into uncharted waters. His productions and remixes have a recognisable deftness and engaging restraint. The prolonged dance floor exposure HOSH has had as a DJ has afforded him an insight into exactly what works on the floor; into the differing moods of a club and into the hidden recesses of a raver’s mind. “I am a DJ/producer/promoter as music is the only constant thing in my life which didn´t bore me. There are bustling talents and there are reclusive virtuoso. JOHANNES BRECHT undoubtedly fits in both categories. As a studio and live musician for many German major artists, Brecht was able to build a reputation as a talented newcomer in recent years. A whiz who acted mostly in the background – this is where Brecht felt most comfortable. Therefore, it makes little sense to pigeonhole the man from Stuttgart in only one genre. Let’s try it another way: A classically trained and professional musician roughs up the electronic music scene. Brecht is responsible for all orchestral arrangements of the Henrik Schwarz Instruments Album on Sony Classical. As Henrik Schwarz heard the first production of his band member, he decided to reactivate his label Sunday Music in January 2013 to release Brecht’s Holla EP. Unsurprisingly, very early Schwarz noticed Brecht’s virtuoso skills that have already been placed in Brecht childhood by a family of musicians. What sounds like the usual story; Brecht’s previous development offers a colourful kaleidoscope of many-sided talents. At the age of five he took lessons for classical piano, later he developed a passion for jazz music, which he channelled through his support in various bands as well as the construction of its first home studios. ELVIRA & LUANA, girls who happened to be born as identical twin sisters. Full blood Italians, born in Belgium. Our passion evolved when we started going out on early age to many different Clubs where we discovered the meaning of Rythm So we fell in love with this amazing story, called House Music! It started with DJ Luana Toto, learning how to mix tracks. One year later, she won a DJ-contest @ Creamm hosted by (Disco Dasco) Crew. Somehow it felt like the beginning of something special. Our resident dj TOFKE started djing 27 years ago at underground parties back in 1989 when he was only 15 years old. He was Belgium’s youngest dj in the very first after club in Belgium called The Globe. Soon he played all over Europe in clubs like Warehouse Cologne, E-Werk Berlin, La Luna in Marseille, Rex in Paris and raves likes Mayday and Love Parade in Berlin with dj’s like Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Jack de Marseille and Richie Hawtin to name a few. soundcloud.com/deejaytofke
