Headliner of the night is Atjazz. Through the 90s he became one of the UK’s most important House Producers and in no time established himself as a distinct and inspirational voice in the underground music scene. His Deep House sound has most recently landed on his label AtJazz Record Company; a new chapter for Atjazz but with a continuation of his trademark sound.
JazzCool, one of London’s finest DJs and upcoming Producer. There are no limits or boundaries when it comes to JazzCool’s musical style; he has the ability to read and perform to an audience with the end result being a musical journey.
Completing the line-up are local DJ/Producers Rancido and Pascal Morais.
Rancido is a passionate Deep-House DJ/Producer from Rotterdam who plays energetic sets with influences and inspiration from Africa. With releases on top labels like Innervisions, Connaisseur Recordings, he has showcased his talent more than once by combining modern techno and house with afro house elements, in order to create his very own and distinctive style. Pascal Morais, with his record label, Arrecha Records, is one of Amsterdam’s most known Afro-Deep underground DJ/Producers.
Pascal’s focus is to bring the sound of underground afro to a wider audience through regular radio broadcasts and his HOJA events.
Undercurrent is without a doubt one of Amsterdam’s most stunning event locations and the perfect location for a Kemet Soul Records night. Undercurrent’s main building floats on the Amsterdam harbor, hosting views of the city and a large outdoor terrace which extends onto the water.
