MOODFUNK is back!
For this special occasion we will be hosting it at Pip Den Haag with a line-up that will tear the place down and set fire to the crowd! We decided to step up our game and invite our dear friends Alex Salvador and Daan Groeneveld, the finest talents this country has to offer, alongside The Hague’s greatest Times Are Ruff, completing the line-up in style! These guys have been delivering constant quality both on their productions and live sets. It has been too long since a line-up of this caliber has come to The Hague, a memorable night is guaranteed!

Alex Salvador is an experienced DJ, a wholehearted label manager, a knowledgeable music collector and artist curator. His adventures in music started in the early nineties; his passion for music and his élan reflects in his whole being. Alex's career choice is not random, as music runs in the family. His label project Tomorrow Is Now, Kid! is also a continuation of his father's work – TINK! Records. After years working on intense promotion and back office activity, sparkled with many hours spent in the studio making music and practicing DJ skills, both Alex and his label Tomorrow Is Now Kid, have grown to become reference brands in modern House music. The label is the home of some of the most exciting artists in the field and Alex has grown to become it's main figure, as one of the brand's most cherished DJ's and it's main activist. His impeccable mixing skills, deep digging habits and unpredictable, creative swing make him a much sought after presence in DJ booths all over Europe, from Manchester to Paris, Lisbon to Berlin and Amsterdam to Monaco . Alex has a unique way of going about his thing and maybe that's why he's so well known for driving a dance floor wild!
Daan Groeneveld is an underground house DJ from Amsterdam. The infamous Club 11 (R.I.P) rekindled his love for house and techno; music styles his brothers already introduced him to as a kid. Daan had always been inspired by the raw and obscure sounds of electronic music. Those filthy hi-hats, hard kicks and nasty snares, preferably out of the TR-909 drum machine always manage to bedazzle him. Getting introduced to the music of Record label My Love Is Underground, de DJ finally found his own true sound. Daan already rubbed shoulders in a booth with Jeremy Underground and played at gigs like Secretsundaze. Next to that he is a resident and takes care of the A/R of Tomorrow Is Now Kid, where he’s always fixed on getting the crowd to dance like crazy to music they don’t know!
Times Are Ruff is what Den Haag has best to offer, the city is famous for Bunker Records, Legowelt, and I-F, is now the home of a new underground collective known as Times Are Ruff. Releasing prime Chicago- and disco-influenced house cuts on their vinyl only label, they have been promoting quality releases and excellent upcoming artists. As a DJ collective, Times Are Ruff is heavily influenced by the Windy City, taking inspiration from the past, but never sounding outdated. Focusing on long - preferably all night - DJ sets in which Times Are Ruff strives to set itself apart and tell a true musical story to the audience, as they understand what the soul needs to let go of the many forms of stress and pressures in life
