As most of you already know we do handle a DRESSCODE and we expect EVERYBODY to put some EFFORT in his/her appearance. After years of carrying around a wardrobe to help out those without inspiration we decided it is time for people to help themselves.

For this special occasion we chose an era in which the ART scene was going strong and many cultural and scientific INNOVATIONS were done. The Eiffel tower was built and many masterpieces of literature, MUSIC, theater, and VISUAL art gained recognition.
In France, at the time, SEX and art were inseparable, it was a period of JOIE DE VIVRE. Some of the famous brothels (Les Maison Closes) even got decorated by artists like Henry Toulouse Lautrec and visited by the prince of Wales.

◥ We go back to 'LA BELLE EPOQUE' in PARIS around the year 1900, the world capital of PLEASURE. The days of Marcel Proust and Oscar Wilde, Andre Gide and Toulouse Lautrec. The days of 'Le Moulin Rouge', Absinthe and Can-Can dancing.
◣ Let's go back and ROMANTICIZE it all a little because as beautiful as it may sound, 'La belle epoque' was only that beautiful for a happy few, 'LE TOUT PARIS', as they called themselves.
QUEERS were hardly mentioned and certainly not operating in the open. Also general fashion was quite conservative, that's why we decided to combine 'La belle epoque' with 'SEXUAL DISTORTION'. So we get the perfect balance.
