LAURENT GARNIER (F-Communications, FR)
Laurent Garnier has been making the planet dance for 25 years. And, for all this time, his huge energy has seen him grooving behind record decks, bouncing up and down behind studio equipment and leaping around radio studios. He is a multi-faceted artist whose impact on the music scene is far-reaching. But above all he is a DJ, a true DJ: transformed by music, passionate about the crowd. Bodies move in a trance on the dance floor, minds elsewhere. Yet he is also a discoverer of old and new sounds, and has an amazingly rich musical culture. He spends most of his spare time sifting through old vinyl in record shops, following the most obscure leads on the Internet and listening to every single piece of music he is sent. Music, the pulse of our planet, is his Holy Grail.
Laurent Garnier is respected by both the godfathers of techno in Detroit, with whom he has built close links, as well as by the younger generation of producers and DJs to whom he has given a taste for electronic music through his DJ sets and radio shows...
“By the time I was ten years old my bedroom looked like a nightclub. There were strobes, multi-coloured flashing lights, a disco ball, a DJ booth and a dance floor. When I switched on my equipment hundreds of tiny white lights would flit across my bedroom ceiling and walls. I switched on my disco ball every night. I only dreamt of one thing: making people dance.”

TECHNASIA (Cadenza Music, FR)
Technasia, also known as Charles Siegling, is a musician and DJ raised and based in Paris. Until 2008, the group also consisted of other founding member, Amil Khan, raised and based in Hong Kong. After meeting in Hong Kong in the mid 90's, Charles and Amil felt it was time to put South East Asia on the world map of electronic dance music and started their musical duo and label Technasia in 1996.
For thirteen years Technasia has created a unique east/west fusion that moves seamlessly from the Paris club scene, to the streets of Hong Kong, to the hippest techno venues in Europe. Founded by Charles Siegling and Amil Khan in 1996, Technasia thrived as a duo for almost a dozen years. Now, Charles has gone solo, taking Technasia into 2010 as a one-man project. Unlike a Hollywood divorce, the parting between Siegling and Khan is truly amicable. Hong Kong-based Khan retired from Technasia to spend time with his young family. “You have to live this scene every single day,” says Siegling, “It’s very consuming, Amil didn’t want that anymore.”
Charles has a burning ambition to create music that transcends cultural barriers, and to captivate every audience. The proof of his success is in the list of clubs and festivals Technasia has played. Fans around the globe, from China, to Colombia, to the Czech Republic, know Technasia’s classic anthems including ‘Force’, ‘Oxide’ and ‘Evergreen’. And they know that every Technasia show takes the music to new heights. When DJing, Charles always plays on three decks, showcasing the old-fashioned arts of cutting and scratching. Live, Technasia takes audiences on an unforgettable ride. Charles literally becomes a one-man band, playing keyboards, percussion and acoustic instruments. He even sings. Anything to create irresistible energy and atmosphere. “I want my audience having fun,” explains Siegling. “Not falling asleep, or going off to the bar for a beer.”

JEAN CEDRIC (Channel Zoo Recordings, FR)
Performing each season in Ibiza for 11 years JeanCedric is without doubt Ibiza's party animal. It’s his search for quality sounds and desire to share the tracks he loves that keep him on the winding music path that he began at 13. JeanCedrics vinyl collection is spread all around the world. It’s however the digital interface that- years after he got the first vinyl- has opened doors and gives him an exciting possibility to play with loops, effects and harmonies. His energy definitely shines through in his music selection.
European in his heart, famous for his tech-house sets, the Parisian is an appreciated guest in countries like Holland, Belgium, Germany, Italy or Spain. Apart from residency at Zoo Project he can be found behind the turntables of dedicated places like Underground or at Ibiza’s cosmopolitan Km5. In the time to come his dream is to have his own web radio to promote sounds from the underground. ..
