The 4th Artist Residency performance on the 4DSOUND system features Stimming from Hamburg, Germany.
Martin Stimming's musical education and profound understanding of music theory developed very early. By the age of 10 he was highly accomplished on the violin, piano and drums. His collaboration with the Hamburg-based label DIYnamic Music began in 2007, and after releasing several singles and EP's, Stimming's debut album 'Reflections' came out in 2009. His tracks are filled with a multitude of his own unique, charismatic field recordings - matched with lush production and a powerful dancefloor dynamic.

In november 2013 Stimming's orchestral piece 'November Morning' was premiered on the 4DSOUND system, performed live by the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. Now Stimming returns to 4DSOUND to prepare a completely new, improvisational set. He will control the sounds coming from his analog synthesizers and drum machines moving in space - all live and completely intuitive. A spontaneous environment that moves audiences mind and feet.
A Q&A with the artist will take place after the performance.
