This spring, UCDJ is proud to present to you their debut party: Double Trouble. To make it twice as nice, we’ll have a selection of our hand-picked DJs playing back-to-back, all night long. With DJs from all across Europe, you’ll be dancing uncontrollably to the finest deep house, techno, and anything in between. We’re happy to bring to you, from the UK and Germany respectively, Purple Velvet and Circula. Supporting them, we have Amsterdam-based DJ collective Bam Boe, as well as a host of our very own UCDJs.

Coming all the way from Birmingham, UK, we’ll be flying over two of our special guests, Purple Velvet. Since forming in 2011, Purple Velvet have developed a reputation for deep and sensuous house music, and have even released on the renowned label Local Talk and Berlin based Exploited. With releases alongside Huxley and Bicep to boast of, this up-and-coming duo are sure to deliver good vibes and great house music.

Our second big name of the evening, Berlin-based Circula will be bringing you cutting-edge bass driven techno, with dark UK-influenced sounds and unconventional beats that hark back to the early days of electronic music. Hailing originally from Totnes, UK, Circula has played gigs at some of Europe’s most well respected clubs, including London’s renowned Light Box and the Rhythm Factory. If you’re looking for a unique and exceptional techno experience, this is not one to miss.

Bam Boe is a fresh and energetic Amsterdam-based DJ crew. They have hosted parties at Basis, OT301 and Disco Dolly, and threw a day-long mini festival in 2013. Bam Boe is growing faster than its namesake, and is quickly spreading its gospel of upbeat, funky house, techno, disco, beats and everything in between.
