Nieuw dance-label Side Recordings lanceert op 28 september 2015 de nieuwe single van DJ José, een reboot van de hitsingle "Hesitate". Begin 2015 werd Side Recordings opgericht door Silverius van Deinsen, bekend als DJ/Producer Silverius van o.a. Radio Veronica en Deepfm. Silverius is geen groentje in de muziekindustrie, zelf draait hij al enige tijd mee als DJ/Producer, hij is host van Radioshow DiepSide op DeepFM, en hij werkte jarenlang bij diverse grote platenmaatschappijen. "Een eigen platenlabel is altijd een droom van me geweest, met Side Recordings wil ik nieuw en gevestigd talent bij elkaar brengen om samen te groeien", aldus Silverius over de start van zijn label.

Side Recordings begint het eerste jaar met 14 releases waaronder DJ José als één van de meer bekende namen. Daarnaast wil het label ook vooral jong talent een podium geven met upcoming producers als LAWSON en Vincent Voort & David Stellar. Side Recordings heeft niet alleen EDM artiesten in huis, met dochterlabels DiepSide en SideBeats tekende het label ook DJ/Producers in de deephouse en techno hoek. Side Recordings wil een belangrijke nieuwe speler worden in de Nederlandse en internationale dance industrie, labelbaas Silverius van Deinsen weet exact wat ervoor nodig is om dit te bereiken: "kwalitatief hoogstaande muziek uitbrengen met bovenal een authentieke sound, dat is waar het om draait bij Side Recordings."

Fresh off the back of the Titanic 'Retrograde', Los Angeles resident DallasK continues an impressive string of hits with the diverse and distinctive 'Kaya', available worldwide now. With 2015 already seeing DallasK featuring on the track 'Area 51' as part of the world dominating album 'United We Are' by Revealed boss Hardwell, and collaborating with the legendary Tiësto on 'Show me', 'Kaya' cements this stellar year with typical flair and style.

After freshly announcing his solo ventures, front-man Xander has showed no signs of slowing down! This wondrous talent has been busy in the studio for days on end which has resulted in five new tracks in the making!

Pirupa is a producer who has quickly gained success through his ear for catchy hooks, a great vocal and fierce tech-house beats. The Italian has previously created 3 of the most downloaded tracks on Beatport; 2009's 'Sweet Devil' (Noir Music), 2010's 'Get Funky' (Cecille), and the iconic 2012 anthem 'Party Non-Stop' (Desolat/Defected). Now he is back with this new certified dancefloor mover, a collaboration with Ninho that will be released on his new label NONSTOP on the 12th October. Arguably the Music On anthem of this season – Marco Carola requested the exclusive and has played it at every gig since – 'Spin Me Round' samples the vocals of the classic 1984 Dead Or Alive hit for a new twist on the classic floor-filling track.

Backed up by the 80s drums of the original and a driving bassline, the echoing vocals are teased in and out before launching into the full chorus. This sing-a-long moment gives way to a powerful drop filled with buss-saw synths and futuristic keyboard melodies.

As a Music On regular, it's hardly surprising that Leon is on the remix duties for this EP. He puts a very different take on the original record; metallic reverb and a juddering beat build way into an atmospheric, grooving 8 minute piece of techno where the vocals are chopped up and used as decoration rather than leading the track – making the full chorus in the halfway breakdown all the more effective. Also included on the EP is the full instrumental, which Carl Cox recently dropped in a set at his famous Space residency - further evidence that this track will soon become a future anthem.



'Rest in hell motherfucker!' Will be the new signature song lyric to take the hardstyle scene by storm! Taken straight from Digital Punk's brand new solo track 'Rest In Hell,' it's clear that this slammer isn't for the faint hearted. There's blood, guts, gore and basically every brutality that exists to mankind. You have been warned – only the toughest can handle this one!

Host of the Paradise NTS show and curator of London's 22Tracks Balearic playlist, Kasra V has been pushing his way through the electronic underground for some time, with a solid-gold reputation as one of the cities finest selectors. Now focussing his efforts on producing, Kasra V has been creating creating synth laden, eclectic boogie sounds with a distinct middle-Eastern edge. Kasra releases his sophomore EP 'Atlantis' via London vinyl imprint Love in Public Spaces this Sept 28th, and lead track Frenzy has a tripped-out, lo-fi video.
