Trouwens,

Ik heb in 2006 een 12 inch gekocht van Hundred Strong ft Def Harmonic. Ik heb het altijd een hele vette 12inch gevonden maar ik kwam er nooit achter wie het waren. Was een whitelabel dus de naam 'Hundred Strong' stond er ook niet op. Maar wie is hier bekend mee?
Hundred Strong – Basement Blues is het album waarop beide tracks van de 12inch op staan. Heeft iemand deze toevallig (digitaal)? Ik ben al wezen zoeken, maar tot op heden is het mij niet gelukt. Alvast bedankt.

2 nieuwe leaks van "Legendary Weapons" van Wu-Tang:

Mwa mwa, niet slecht maar ook niet super dik.
Maar sws beter dan wat ze de laatste twee jaar hebben uitgebracht.

Ice Cube was dope gisteren!

Dit was weer 1 van de hoge plank. Goeie balans met oud en nieuw spul (zelfs het nieuwe spul klonk flex). Playlist was gewoon perfect.
Tuurlijk weet Cube wel hoe hij een goeie show neerzet, en dat zag je ook. Hij heeft gegeven.
WC was back-up en Doughboy (z'n zoon) als tussendoortje.

Cube maakt makkelijk al zn rhymes zelf af, gebruikt WC nauwelijks als backup. Show van 1,5 uur in redelijk snel tempo, niet teveel crowdplay (ook niet te weining).

Had het niet verwacht, maar dit L'il B album is toch wel hard hoor!

Classic Rap Mixtape Volume 1

the Butcher en Masta Lee hebben de handen ineen geslagen en samen schotelen zij de luisteraars een mixtape met een uur aan hip hop klassiekers voor.

Befaamd blogger Frank the Butcher kwam op het briljante idee om een mixtape te maken van zijn favoriete rap nummers. Aangezien hij hier een DJ voor nodig had schakelde hij Masta Lee in om het geheel aan elkaar te mixen. Deze nam de taak op zich en moest een goed lopend geheel zien te maken uit een selectie van 50 nummers. Omdat Lee eveneens als Frank geen keuze kon maken uit deze 50 nummers besloot hij ze allemaal te gebruiken wat resulteerde in de eerste officiële Classic Rap mixtape.

Zoals de titel al aangeeft bestaat de mixtape uit verscheidene klassiekers van o.a. Nas, Gangstarr, LL Cool J, A Tribe Called Quest, Delasoul en nog vele anderen. Feilloos aan elkaar gemixt schotelt hij maar liefst een uur lang gratis muziek aan je voor.
