- And what about dogs? Is it easy to find an apartment where you can have pets? I wan't my dog with me
if you have you own apartment... why not?
you make the rules
But it's not that easy to find job, when you don't speak dutch?
that depends on what kind of job
Do you know any internet sites i can look at?
http://www.wonen.rotterdam.nl/smartsite.dws?id=200016
just google and you find alot of interesting stuff
Hehe okay. It's totally not the same rules as in Cph.
Here it's hard to find a place where you can have dogs
that sucks big time then haha
Or is it easy to find a squat?
well it don't comes along for free thats for sure!
The job thing doesn't really matter. I just need some money
then is isn't hard to find one
hahaah Baws lives in Utrecht, about 1 hour away from Rotterdam on train.
yeah we've talked about it but we first need to sell our house. Thats the only thing thats keeping us from going. Of course with this housing slump in america, who knows when we'll be able to sell.
i'd wait till the next president is mid-term.......that's when the housing boom will be in full effect.......i know this because i'm special and good at scientifical guesstimations
thoughts of moving have also crossed my mind here and there........i have a dream, i might as well give it a shot....but my other half says "try from america"

very true man.
but Cetra had some good words for me.
"you only have one life, you're still young and plus you have alot of friends who would move too, so you'll have support. Many people dream about going to different places but can't go because of kids; etc."
I really like holland and europe alot and its time for a change. I will miss my family and friends but I'll be back.
Well does anyone want to buy my house? hahahahaha

my best friend lived in r-dam for 6 months, i was gonna go, but decided not to, always wanted to move to rotterdam too.... but never did, now i am a homeowner and i can't move now either, but i can still go visit/dj/whatever....... but i must say, that almost everytime i stayed in holland it was in r-dam......i've been at least 25-30 times, but i also stayed alot in E-hoven (eindhoven) and i loved it there too..... but definately r-dam.... its beautiful, it;s not touristy, dont get me wrong i love going shopping and kickin it in A-dam too on my trips., but something about the 2 midtowns, the zuidplein mall, the center, Skyhigh coffeeshop next to midtown megastore, knowing where everything is, that's a big plus...... but i know e-hoven pretty well too.....also kick ass.....
