For all you dutch people, how did you learn?

Well by watching tv and school aswell

Television was a real good help. And beacause of that I graduated with a A+ for that subject.

I've lived in London (4 years) and also in the US (Chicago, Denver). When I was living in those countries, I never hang out too much with French expats (I'm French), that's why my English got better.

I learn English from School and Television.

learn from tv and listening to people speaking or just go to a skool to learn it like me learning dutch even do i speak half of it already

Many trips to Chicago, I've done a summer school at university of Wisconsin at Madison, I was a good student at school , I work with french-american guys and most of our guests are foreigners.

and yes, talking about hardcore gets a bit boring at the end but strangely enough my boyfriend just left msn so this means I do not have an excuse anymore not to study (I have an examination tomorrow)

Got english parents who moved to holland before i was born
so uhm.. yeah kinda easy how i learned my english

speak english at home and dutch at school/work

I'm born in MALTA and i moved here in Holland last June '05.

I learned english at school, by reading and speaking.

In Malta we speak maltese and english and i like english coz its easy speaking....

I learned English @ school, watching TV and surfing the internet..

And in my opinion I'm not that bad..

i wish i moved to holland

Different case for me.
My girl friend wants to turn over to live in the Netherlands, in Den Haag (she is from leiden)).
I dont know if I want to go there, I have enough saved money, but it is necessary that I find a work in first, and currently im in a formation (i work in the fashion).

thts a very hard disicion even if you find work you might not want to go ...

its hard but you do need work if you are to move
