If you are on vacation in Holland, and if you want to visit one of our nice parties, you will need some usefull Dutch sentences to make it easier for you and the person you are speaking to!

Can I have a beer please? - Mag ik een biertje?
There are also some other variations you can use when you order a drink, like; "one beer (een biertje)" or "give me beer (geef me bier)" or just "beer (bier)"

because when we don't, a lot of people have no respect.
i've always liked being able to speak dutch to people and they respect me a lot for trying.

either way, it's always fun

most people who are dutch speak english (or a bit like me)
but when the english people try to speak dutch i have respect for them because they know everyone speaks english but they still try...

and it's just fun to hear them trying to speak dutch instead of us try to speak english

unfortunately, many of the "je/tje" words are a bit irregular

sometimes it's easy:

- muis (mouse) > muisje
- hond (dog) > hondje
- patat (fries) > patatje

- haan (rooster) > haantje
- trein (train) > treintje
- deur (door) > deurtje
- Jeroen 🇲🇪 > Jeroentje

sometimes you just have to know

- raam (window) > raampje
- kam (comb) > kammetje
- Marina (Marina) > Marina'tje OR Marinaatje
- Stuiterwal (Bouncewall) > Stuiterwalletje
