Hi Robin! Let's start with an easy one. How are you doing? And where are you in the world?
Hey! All good here. Currently I'm in my studio in Tilburg 🇳🇱 working on new stuff.

What's your musical history ? How did you first get into music?
In high school I got really into music. More bands and indie stuff in the first place, but around 15 years old I started exploring the world of dance music. I got triggered by the Sneakerz and Nope is Dope CD's and wanted to know more about this genre. From that point I started collecting a lot of music and a couple of months later I bought my first DJ set (after delivering a lot of newspapers, spending nearly nothing and loan from my parents, haha)

Your next gig is at Love House? – what inspired you to join on this event?
Yes! Dennis and I met at several events in the past where I was playing. I think a year ago he told me he started a new concept called 'Love House'. I was immediately interested because it really fits my style. After visiting the last edition in Club Smederij in Tilburg with Double Touch, Corren Cavini and Paul Sparkes I got invited to play at the following edition. Really looking forward!

Please describe your music style as a DJ?
With my musical style I want to release emotion in the listener. Emotion is often triggered by melody, so in the tracks I play, there is often a solid melodic and harmonic base. In addition, I also like energy, so there are always enough rhythmic and danceable elements present that gets the listener moving.

What is the direction of your music. What is your audience age wise and vibe-wise?
Although I don't like to pin music down to a certain age, you can see that my style often appeals more to the slightly older ravers ;-). The youngsters who just started going to parties until their mid-20's are currently more attracted to the harder and faster styles within dance, like hard techno and hard house. I don't know exactly what it is, maybe the tempo I play is more pleasant for 25+ haha.

You have been a DJ for how many years? Please tell the readers what to expect from this gig at Love House?
I've been a DJ for almost 16 years now, that's more than half my life :-). For Love House you can expect a 2 hour energetic melodic ride, filled with floating emotional tracks and more groovy tunes. I always prepare a lot of music in my playlists as I really love to read the crowd and see what works on a dancefloor. If this triggers your curiosity, just come by and experience it yourself :)!

Aside from Love House, please tell us about your plans, upcoming events and DJ gigs.
For the coming year I want to focus more on developing my sound and putting out quality music. Last year I released 5 tracks and for 2025 it's my goal to top this. The feedback on my latest tracks have been really nice with support from some of my personal heroes, like Olivier Weiter and Joost van Bellen.

Also The Boom Room of SLAM! has been playing my latest track 'Mindspace' several times, it was even selected for their 2024 Yearmix. So in short, I'm motivated to make the best out of 2025 and I'm curious what it will bring!
