Biografie
Andy's contribution to the dance scene began way back in 1990 in Scotland helping to organise early raves with Glasgow sound system Breach of the Peace. A move to Southwest England in 1994 saw Andy move from behind the scenes to behind the turntables where he fell in love with the burgeoning acid techno scene from nearby London.
Andy honed his skills behind the mixer in many a field in Wiltshire and the South West, as well as more than a few warehouses in London.
A move to Amsterdam in 1996, where he still resides to this day, found him spinning eclectic, funky techno and acid sets in legendary venues such as The Graan Silo, Melkweg, Trance Buddha, Club114 and the ADM as well as occasional spots on the 'free' station Radio 100. An unexpected and unscheduled appearance at Dance Valley#3 followed.
The years that followed showed Andy working with some of the luminaries of the Dutch dance scene, Darren Crowley(Radical Rehousing), Paul Jay(HQ, Smokeaters), Chamelion(Sub United) to name just a few.
Andy took up various residency's, primarily at The Greenhouse Effect and the ultra-underground Korsakoff exploring not only techno, but break beats and even drum and bass, even spinning at Amsterdam's premier d'n'b night 'Cheeky Monday'.
Outside of the Netherlands Andy has played often in Hungary, having appeared several times on Budapest's Tilos Radio and at many venues throughout the city.
After a brief sabbatical Andy Clarke has returned with a new, fresh attitude and killer tunes to boot. Now working closely with the likes of Dennis Mantana, MC Marxman, Brent Spar, Andy has returned to blistering, eclectic form leading to recent appearances at the legendary Paradiso (twice), The Magneet Festival and the hip Panama club.
