Biografie
Dasha Rush is a Russian-born artist who sees the genre as a starting place, not a destination. She is a respected and well-traveled DJ and live performer, but her work is equally focused away from the dance floor, and sometimes away from the music itself. Combining her activities as a dj and techno producer on her Fullpanda imprint, which founded in 2005, with other multi-artistic collaborations alongside visual artists or dancers. Dasha likes to push the boundaries of contemporary dance music to the limit, encourages experimentation with various musical (and non-musical) forms and assembling into a thoughtful composition and interaction between the media, like her recent audiovisual project named "Antarctic Takt". Which was premiered at Atonal festival in 2014, following the presentations at Mutek Montreal 2015 or Volt Festival to name a few. Live performer, electronic music composer, producer/DJ, sound and visual artist. In her strange and twisted world, the machines are the protagonists of a neo-romanticism, weaved with human dreams.

Das is toch ook d'r charme misschien ? Ik vond het wel een mooie set tijdens Awake NYD. Smooth, groovy, duistere sound. Alleen misschien een verkeerde timing na Faki/Liebing. D'r live samples had ze al klaarliggen die kon ze niet meer aanpassen. Ze heeft een unieke sound en van mij mag ze altijd de warm-up set live draaien
