Biografie
·Idiosyncratic, Rotterdam based DJ and producer of ACID ELECTRO RAVE
Also member of RAVE GUERRILLA & former member of JUGEND
Craving for underground electronic music since 1994. As a frequent visitor of recordstore Midtown and as a pupil of Harm Spijker (DDZion, resident of club Twilight) I started spinning vinyl in the year of 1997, in the middle of the Rotterdam Hardcore era, as (uptempo) hardcore, breakbeat & speedcore DJ. Liza 'n' Eliaz, Ruffneck and Nasenbluten were my main inspiration in those days. The DJ name I used back then (1997-2009) was VX (a most deadly nervegass).
My development got affected in the years after 1997 by all kinds of trash & black metal, industrial/jungle, the early 2000s goa & tekno scenes, and later electroclash & acidtechno. Sound engineering, for other artists as well, became a passion and huge part of my life. A unique, firm and twisted ravesound evolved. In 2010 I decided to fully focus on this combination of dark electrorave & acidtechno while I added black metal elements to my liveshows: AudioWitch.
Nowadays I spread my own synthetic technological visions on electronic music, which can be referred to as dark, hardware-ish, danceable, and energetic.
In the past years my work got personal & artistic support of some massive alternative artists, like: Laurent Hô, Zombie Nation, Angy Kore, Fraulein Z, D-R-U-N-K, Demia E Clash, Dylan McBride, Mike Drama, TanzMan, Franz & Shape, Strange Connection and many others.
Releasing my shit these days mainly on Herr Zimmerman (techno/electro label & clubnight managed by a spacer katze!)
Playing as a resident on HERR ZIMMERMAN's HORROR SHOW since 2011
