T99

T99 was a Belgian techno band best known for their rave anthem, "Anasthasia", which reached #14 in the UK Singles Chart in May 1991. T99 was initially Patrick de Meyer, who released three solo works under this pseudonym. However, he heard Olivier Abbeloos (also of Quadrophonia) working on the track "Anasthasia" and suggested that Abbeloos released it as T99.
From then on T99 was a duo, made up of Patrick de Meyer and Olivier Abbeloos. They experienced brief success with "Anasthasia" and the very similar follow-up, "Nocturne".
Their only album release, Children of Chaos, contained 17 tracks which varied from hardcore techno to more ambient techno, along with an odd spoken-word performance art piece. The vocals on "children of chaos" were done by Zenon Zevenbergen.

Anasthasia appears on the soundtrack to the 1999 film Human Traffic.
Besides the project T99, Olivier Abbeloos had also worldwide success with Quadrophonia which he did together with Lucien Foort.
Olivier participated in the film about the golden age of house music, Oldschool renegades, out this summer in theaters and on DVD.
