This friday it's crackbeats time again. Because I've risen some curiousity about the opening set. Therefore I wrote a few notes on what to expect.
Expect the weirdest and strangest or maybe repulsive stuff in my collection on vinyl. Expect weird and sometimes useless remixes like an atempt to put the industrial gothrock of the band Alien Sex Fiend into a Trance remix. Or an atempt to make a Dancehall remix of a Transglobal underground track. The remix lacks all the groove Dancehall tracks have. What's left is a Too hard kick drum, strange vocals and several elements which just makes it all too much, just like Breakcore
Or how about a one sided whitelabel giving Anarchy in the UK by the Sex pistols the Dirtorted Breakbeat treatment? Chemical tracks that are too lump for chemical, House tracks that were pressed too loud which makes them sound in a fucked up way. It all becomes pretty Hardcore.
Strange records and whitelabels that aren't even listed on discogs and are barely traceble but contain some wicked elements of strange music. Skipping test pressings or Flexi discs with strange recordings or advertising messages will be added to the fun as well. Gabber artist and labels doing tracks you don't expect them to release.
Ever heard a Rotterdam Terror corps record pressed on a record made of glue? As long as it is pressed. It will do.
