What really pisses you off at raves?

I hate all those people that try and act like they're big tough guys, the ones that just look at you as if you're scum...or if you're smiling they look at you as if you're wierd for being happy. What the f**k is up with that?

Yes that is harsh, I had a really horrible experience with them strobes they were on for about 10 mins, I couldn't see anything, well freaked me out, couldn't even walk, and only got my sight back when they stopped...dodgy as!!!

haha at the party i was at on friday a stroboscope was positioned at 1m 70 high and directed straight into the faces of the punters,by the time the party was over u had a headaches and went straight to bed ignoring the afterparty

Once at hardhouse academy in london, i almost past out because of a stroboscope

eugh....bejeezus, i remember being at a techno party last year and the oh so mighty strobe light came on, not to mention the messed up smoke machine which really filled up the place with a cloud of smoke, that and the intense flashing almost made me pass out, and i've never had that at any party in my life. Facked!

We use the tokens, so that we don't have (long) ques at the bar.

The people on the other side of the bar don't have to return any change. There's also no possibility of people that lie to get extra change (say they payed with a 20 euro instead of 10).

You only have to stand once (or twice) in a que, at the bars you get helped quickly.

The only bad thing about it is that sometimes you still have tokens when the party ends. Organisations should let you use the same tokens at their other parties (they used to let us do that)

true, i've known a few people who did that once.

Another idea which i've seen in some places, is to hand out a sort of card at the entrance with lots of little blocks on it with different € values.

Each time you buy a drink the barman/woman puts a hole through some of the little blocks, when you leave you hand in your ticket and they count the values with holes in it. Then you pay the price.

The only problem though is if you lose your card, you have to pay the full price of the card.

yes, and that is often the case in big festivals you also have to wait a long time to get a drink... i hate it.

Well I've been to hardhouse academy three times and I was surprised how many people were wasted by drugs, even more then over here.

Have you ever been cornered by one of these people in a rave it really spoils your buzz everything they say is negative,its depressing

Luckily I have never come across such people. Usually its people who are far too muntered to even see straight, trying to dribble all over you.....now thats depressing!!!
