VINNIE Jones punches a 26-stone pool player — after being glassed in the face in a bar brawl.
The soccer hardman turned Hollywood star — captured on CCTV — was later arrested in hospital. He faces up to a year in jail if convicted of assault.
The drinker — a pal of the man accused of wounding Vinnie — told last night how he emerged from a bar’s loo and was hit by the star, his face pouring with blood.
The Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels actor was being led to the gents after he was GLASSED in the pool table brawl.
Roly-poly Juan Barrera said: “I just walked out the restroom, didn’t say a word to him . . . and he struck me in the mouth.”
The moment was captured in shock CCTV footage — showing the movie tough guy, 43, striking the 24-year-old.
Barrera is seen to grapple with Vinnie, then pick him up and throw him down a corridor at Wiley’s Tavern in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The American’s trousers almost fall down in the fracas.
Jones's pals rush to tend to the former Wimbledon soccer ace — whose face was already bloodied and peppered with shards from the bar-room brawl. Last night the pool player who glassed him was in jail.
Meanwhile Jones was facing court charged with assault.
Cops arrested the actor at a nearby hospital where he was taken by a group of up to five British friends who had joined him on a pheasant-shooting holiday.
He needed stitches to his nose and face.
Barrera, who had been playing pool with pals when he claims Jones began hassling them, insisted he went to the gents BEFORE all hell broke loose.
He said he was horrified when the star lashed out in the corridor. Barrera said: “His whole face was covered in blood.”
Moments earlier Jones allegedly lost his rag — launching himself at “glasser” Jesse Bickett, 24. The brawl was also caught on CCTV.
Barrera said the actor went berserk when his chum Bickett asked: “Are you that guy from X-Men?”
Barrera said: “He got offended by that, and he started pushing my other friends around. He said he’s been in so many other movies.”
Jones, who played 6ft 6in bruiser Juggernaut in the 2006 action movie X-Men: The Last Stand, is said to have been hit in the face with a beer glass after headbutting Bickett.
Bickett, who suffered a cut hand, was held outside the bar.
Cop Brian Warwick said: “Mr Jones was arrested on a charge of simple assault and Mr Bickett for aggravated assault.”
Last night Sioux City police were “closely reviewing” the CCTV — handed exclusively to The Sun. Bickett’s mum Debra said: “He told me it was self-defence”.
Jones’s manager last night described him as “fine” and said he was continuing with the trip.
The actor lives in Los Angeles with wife Tanya and their children Kaley and Aaron.
He faces up to a year in jail if found guilty of assault.
A conviction will jeopardise his visa to live and work in LA.
Bar manager Craig Doohen said: “The whole thing was like a Wild West scene.”
